Hello fellow nairalanders, my memory card got damaged, can anyone please help me on how to recover my files. Thanks in anticipation.

When you say damage what do you mean
1. Is it physically damaged
2. Is your device not recognising it
if its no 1, you may have lost your data but of its no 2 then try the ff:
- remove and insert in a different device to see if its ur device sd slot that is bad
- connect ur device to a computer and if it recognizes the sd card, then copy out all the data on the card and save in a folder on the computer. Then format the sd card by right clicking and select format.then re-copy the data back to the sd card and remove device from computer. Check to see if the data is accessible on the sd card, if yes, then u r good to go, if not, you may have to get a new sd card and copy all ur saved data on the computer on the sd card.

if its to recover files.... there are free software that can recover like 20% of your files..... but I have premium software to recover all files..... works for any external storage device
