Man will be imprisoned in a room with a door that is unlocked and opens inward as long as it does not occur to him to pull rather than push”- Ludwig Wittgenstein

I used to be afraid of swimming because of Sharks.

As a child, I watched the movie "Jaws" and saw how Sharks terrorized people on the sea. This gave me an impression that Sharks were lurking everywhere that water was flowing.

I held on to this strange belief so much that I nearly developed phobia for water till I got to know a whole lot more about Sharks.

Do you realize that so much of what you are afraid of is just imagined in your mind?

Do you know that you create your own failures 99% of the time?

Thoughts are powerful.....

You aren’t afraid of what you think you are afraid of but you are afraid what you think.

What you create in you mind be it failure, success, fear, defeat etc..you will become and live it.

So what do you want to become your reality.

Good morning.

Was busy with exams but on break now. That quote has so many explanations to it.

For example, that one wants to build a duplex doesn't mean that one has no use for bricks, because bricks are what will build one a duplex. In other words, no knowledge is too small or irrelevant as every great idea comes from little ideas.
Sometimes, the things you think doesn't matter, matters a lot.

Habit 3: Put First Things First

We are humans and are born and have to live with certain limitations. One of those limitations is that we can't do everything that we want to do. We have only a fixed capacity- a limit of doing things- and it is very difficult for us to go beyond that.

However successful people have crossed these troubled waters. The more successful you are, the more things you will have to tackle. Successful people have managed to keep the boat by focusing on only the most important things that need to be done at a particular moment.

PRIORITIZATION!

This is the game successful people play. They ways see what's on their platter and choose and pick those things that absolutely need to be done. They know the art of prioritizing very well. And that's the reason they are able to accomplish tasks. Maybe they don't accomplish everything......maybe they they are not able to do everything....but they are definitely able to do the most important things. They are able to do the things that can take them and their teams to success.

But how do you decide the things that are the most important? What gives you that ability? One way to decide your priorities Is simply to see which tasks are in front of you are the most beneficial, and I am not speaking only interns of money. See everything that is on your agenda. List out the things systematically. Then highlight the things that absolutely need to be done. Another way to do this is to decide which thing is important for the success of another thing. If there's something you could do so that the fulfilment of another task becomes easier, then you should do that basic task FIRST.

This way you set up a chain of events, and it becomes convenient for you to accomplish your various tasks.

'What differentiate "Success-personality" from "Failure-personality" is their ability to take risks irrespective of what the environment think of them' - Djboosting

You see, the problem with failures(in terms of being) is that they don't take risks. They love being comfortable. They have 'perfected' the art of laziness in being comfortable.

People who are successful don't choose comfort as hobby.

I was teaching a client somethings about this Approach anxiety issue with women or social group. He said something which motivated me to even teach him and praticalize with him more, even far more than the service he paid for, he said and I quote

"I know some other colleagues of mine which you trained are very happy about the new results they are getting and I don't know if they really want to push further and grow the fvck up more, BUT me, I'm not traveling back this weekend, give me all the discomfort in the world, cos I want to grow more bigger, more dominant and more successful in every areas of my life"

It infuriated me the fvck more to teach him and basking him in knowledge and actions..

Successful people don't stay in a place, they keep taking little little risks, learning more and growing confidence every. fvcking. day.. They hate 'comfort-zone'..

But the other failures, they love to stay thesame and be comfortable.

Good morning, friends. Hope you all had some needed rest? Let's please continue with our 7 Habits. Today we shall be explaining Habit 4.

Habit 4: Think Win-Win.

We have been conditioned to think, by our parents, teachers and society in general, that life is all about winning. Now, that is not wrong in itself, but the approach that we have been taught is definitely wrong. We have been taught to win at someone else's expense. Or, we have been taught to understand that if we lose, someone else will win. This has become our natural thought process, and we rarely do think in any other way.

But, what Stephen Covey tells us to learn is that life is not about winning at the expense of someone else......or losing if someone else wins. This is not the way successes are carved. In the world of successful people, the success has been of everyone.

Think of the inventor of the telephone....or the radio....or the person who first landed on the moon....or the one who created Microsoft.....what is the common element in all these people?

The common strand is that it is not just they who won. When the telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell, everyone used it. Communication improved immensely, all over the world. When Guglielmo Marconi invented the radio, the whole world rejoiced at the new avenue of entertainment that had opens up. When Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landed on the moon, it was a giant leap for the entire humankind. When William Gates developed Microsoft, it is not just the Microsoft Corporation that became the richest commercial organisation in the world, but it is all of us who witnessed and benefited from the revolutionary phenomenon.

Our lives have been shaped by these things. ...by these people who who did not stop to think about their personal victories. They only thought about how they could take someone else ahead as well....how they could improve the world that they lived in.

Thinking about the world is along shot, but you should at least think about the people who are close to you. To give you the right interpretation of Stephen Covey's model for the highly effective people, the one thing that is important is that you should not aim for the victory at someone else's expense. Instead, you should think about you can collectively move towards victory. Success, in the present times, is about collaboration and cooperation.

The Internet has made this possible. The Internet has shown us that victory doesn't belong to a single person. In fact, if it belongs to a single person,it feels inadequate. Victory is something we need to share collectively. We have to think the win-win situation in which everyone is a winner, no one is a loser.

Good morning.

But you've out of my range. LOL!

Nice to have you back shaa......my dear, I've been busy like crazy, running circles within the mad Rat Race; I just can't wait to get the hell out of it. Seriously sometimes I get sick knowing I have to wake up by 5.30 A.M whether I like it or not, stuck in the traffic for an hour or two, work round the clock, engage another round of traffic homewards......the cycle I wish to break free someday.

To be rich is to have money. To be wealthy is to have TIME. I prefer the latter. Seriously I do.

I've been a little tardy in keeping the thread due to excessive schedule but I'll be a little timely in the coming weeks.

Thanks for visiting.

Do You Shape the World or Does the World Shape You?

Do you know that you are a product of the Culture/Society/Politics that you are born into?

Do you know that the way you react and the way you think is related to the messages you have been told and this manifests in what you become and the Society you create?

What this means is that you tempted to be bounded by your self imposed standards. There is a possibility that you are limiting yourself to the Status Quo.

You shape the World in ways you can never imagine. If you learn to question the Status Quo and ask Why, you are moving forward in creating a world that is beyond your imagination and one that you will enjoy

If you get rid of the Self-imposed standards, the sky is just the Limit for you.

Don't let the World shape you. Shape the World, be an inspiration and make a difference.
