This shows that Nigeria is going to remain one for another 1 billion years. grin

How do you invest handsomely in some part of the country and walk away from your investment? Nigeria is on the march to its lost glory. Once we get back to our potentials, I don't see anyone wanting to leave the union.

God Bless Nigeria for all of us.

Excerpts from the article:

"In 2012, following the death of some Igbos in a bomb explosion in Kano, an Igbo leader was reported as saying: “With more than one million Igbos and our over N20 billion investments in Kano, this is our home away from home. And no one can force us to return home where… land is scarce and expensive for setting up new businesses.”

you funny Weller.
Are there not Chinese citizens with properties in Nigeria?
Do you know how much Igbo's have in other countries of the world?
You people should stop deluding yourselves... if Biafrans get independence Igbo's can still live wherever they are outside Biafra but within this present Nigeria but as foreigners.
thanks for trusting yorubas with ur igbo properties....but i'll tell nw that ..you igbo people has no properties in the SW u just borrowed these properties 4 sometime...there is no igboland in Oduah land when u r through with it, it goes to Oduah govt. we have traditional laws too.

yeah, as long as you don't have investment, it's easier for you to rubbish another man's sweat.
lol. Sorry, my investments are in my homeland.
Of what use is an investment in abuja, when there is no possible future there? It takes one or two religious or ethnic riots and the so-called investments are gone.
Your country is a fraud.

Exactly. Thank you for re-emphasizing it.
Igbo investments in other part of Nigeria is transit. It is irrelevant and not reliable.
The future of generations unborn should not be mortgaged because of some phantom investments.

I think the Igbo are becoming wiser.
I asked one the other day if he would buy land in my area and he said God Forbid! that after he buys land some stupid people will come and start telling him how it is not his land. He said that no matter the cost of land he will take his investments to the East.
I think this is why other ethnic nationalities do not want Igbo to go.
1) Who will develop their place?Yoruba do not really migrate into other parts of Nigeria because of safety concerns.
2) They will lack modern services and will be thrown back into the middle ages.
3) Under international law they will loose their land where Igbo property are located to the Igbo's.

Funny thing is that the Igbos are still building on their land. I laff at Igbo's. They r STUPID.
For Igbo man to build a 5 million Naira house, He must have made 15 million from that location and that house will save him another 5 million rent, at the end he has not lost even if he lose the house. ...take for instance, its better to go to Lagos make 20 million and build 10 million naira house save 10 million than to stay in your place and make 5 million for the same period..... They are the Wisest black RACE

I am not saying that Nigeria will disintegrate neither am I saying that it won't but basing your argument on the investment of the Igbos in other part of the country as a drawback to why the Igbo won't want to leave or will be disadvantaged is strong enough reason.

Have you consider that if Nigeria for some reasons splits and the Igbos have to go, what makes you think they won't come back as immigrants and do what they know how to do best? It is in their blood it has nothing to do with whether it is one Nigeria or not. They did after loosing everything during the war and they are doing it in every part of the globe in spite of the challenges.
The closer the destination to their land and the prosperous the land is the more likely that they will 'invade' and subdue the place.

I am sure you remember how the Jew lost everything in Germany and all over Europe, I am also sure you know how they practically 'own' both Europe and North America in terms of investments. I am not comparing the Igbos and the Jews mind they both have different histories but just to point out that loosing everything does not mean you can't get it back.

so why is Nnamdi kanu locked up and even when court gave order to release him the DSS refused?
Woman, knw dat freedom of speech has limits even in d constitutn. E.g. a situatn when a British citizen openly threaten to assassinate d Queen of England or d British PM or usin derogatory language against them or incitin hatred, do u think d British Govt/Authorities knwn globally for safeguardin of democratic principles nd human rights, won't arrest nd charge such a person to court for libel, or threat to life, or for incitin hatred? Nnamdi made mistakes in his so-calld fight for self-determinatn for Igbo pipo by broadcastin hate speeches nd callin those who refusd to align wit his dreams derogatory names. Nd it seems dat explains why d UN nd d Western World leaders didn't took him serious, nd ar not even sayin anythin to pressuriz d Nigerian Govt to release him. Its like they knw dat Nnamdi crossd boundary. Do u think those hate speechs weren't recorded as evidenc?

Igbo people are so 'tupid'. If I were Igbo I would have been putting up just a 2bedroom bungalow apartment in my place of residence n then go back to build my duplexes in the cities or state capitals of my state.
When I am tru, then I'll rent it out.
I know I'll not make much money like if my house is in Lagos but at least I wud have 1) greater security n 2) more development in my region.

This in turn would improve the economy of the place n then would finally drive their region into an economic stronghold in Africa.

Anyway they can pls continue to develop our places. At least it will lead to faster development of our children.

I don't really like the Yoruba sha. In this regard they r wiser than Igbo n they do not help build up other places.

As for the Hausa? mtschew. they wud rather build kiosks in ur place, littering everywhere with filth n dirt n dragging you backward into the dark ages.

We must do everything in our power to retain Igbo even if it means threatening them with war so as not to remain mediocre.

As for the Hausa-Fulani we the MiddleBelt can't wait for the day they will scream seccession!
We will GLADLY let them go.
In fact we will even dash them money so that they can go.

They are a great liability to Nigeria breeding beggars, almajiris, terrorists. etc.

Weither I do my worst or not
What will happen will still happen
It's not in my power or that of any other person (or devil) to stop it

There are various ways to resolving issues
War is just one of them
Besides
No right thinking person will choose the war option as his/her first choice

Marriage is not forced
It is consentual
Once the parties involved consent to it
every other thing becomes irrelivant (country differences, tribal differences, social differences)

One more thing

Those of you who feel you want to save your so called country know (or at least have an idea) of what you are supposed to do in order to have a chance to make it happen
But
I personally feel you guys cannot do it
Cause you lack the sincerity, conviction and willpower to make it happen

THEY THINK THAT BIAFRANS ARE IDIOTIC ENOUGH TO MORTGAGE THE FUTURE OF UNBORN BIAFRANS BECAUSE OF PROPERTIES THAT CAN BE BURNT DOWN ANY MINUTE BY SOME SILLY ALMAJIRIS OR AGBEROES. THE WAY I SEE IT BIAFRANS HAVE GONE TOO FAR TO LOOK BACK. THE WAY I SEE IT THEY'LL BE TOO PROUD TO TURN BACK TO NIGERIA EVEN IF NIGERIA OFFERS THEM THE WORLD, NOT WITH THOSE RAVING MAD ALMAJIRIS STILL IN IT.

LIES, LIES and more lies. how can ibo properties in kano and kauna be worth trillions, how can ibos own 70% of land in Abuja, how can ibos investment in plateuau be trillion. my people shoud stop telling and believing these lies. l advise them to visit fcda, kano and kaduna then they will see that those claims are false. infact I doubt if ibos properties in their entire north is worth 1 trillion, how many even have properties, how many own duplex, abi its all those compact bungalows that ibos build that is worth trillions.
