B2mario:B2mario, Dust in the north of Nigeria is what gives northerners the many health problems like blindness, lung diseases and short live span. Do you wish same for people in Orlu? Mind you dust is worse from roads that were scrapped and with sand poured upon the roads and abandoned; as is the problem in Orlu. No body is asking Okorocha government to come to Orlu to asphalt urban roads, many of them fully built with houses on both sides, not asphalted, but pose no danger of lung diseases. No, what Orlu pray Okorocha to do is asphalt the roads his contractors scrapped up in the last four years, if not, Okorocha is deliberately inflicting people living along those scrapped, dusty roads in Orlu with lung diseases and early blindness. And do not believe that when the media war starts soon, that your type of excuse can suffice. |

ekafine:On a side note ekafine and EASTSIDAZ share same IP and location meaning both of them are Chino. Change your ways as you are getting older Mr Chino. On my contribution you quoted I clearly pointed out that the bad road affected weekly influx of Port Harcourt boys to Owerri. I for example visited only 3 times this 2015 as against other years that could be up to 20. |

Hopeless ugly old man of 40. I know it hurts whenever people tell you the truth. Now you are trying so hard to make me look like I am ekafine for whatever reason known to you? Why not post the screenshot of my IP address that shows i am the one, you fool. Don't ever mention my name on this thread because I don't want to be here or this will not be the last of it. I have warned you stay on your thread and never mention my state or any part thereof here or you go hear am. Stup1d old ugly man. [s] Abagworo:[/s] |

Abagworo:This is the 70th time you have posted an image of that hotel.. Nna wetin?? |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 1:29pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
Abagworo:Lol me chino? Now I know u are going mad. Go through all my posts and feed your ignorant brain. Pls stop trying to sound insane. Wat I said is that the road connecting owerri to rivers state is worse than the road connecting calabar. Fact. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Duru1(m): 2:22pm On Dec 26, 2015*. Modified: 2:43pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:I have shown wisdom in my post against the posters who attacked you on previous posts but the above post bordered on insult on the people of Owerri and Imo State. Owerri can never have more decaying infrastructure than Calaber. In addition, Owerri cannot have more women seeking for men than Eket or Calaber. I started visiting the region that made up Akwa Ibom and Cross River States at 17 and I am not a girl. I use to travel to Eket when it was semi-village in late 70s. You should also understand that the federal government ran by Yari.ba, Hausa, Pula, Kanuri and rest of them from northern region of Nigeria have concluded to bypass AlaIgbo in terms of meaningful federal presence. The two federal roads that passed or intercepted at Eket are Eket-Uyo and Oran-Ikot Abasi via Eket-PH Expway. These roads were constructed by the federal government and any boast of economic infrastructure in Eket was due to federal government plan to abuse the minds of Ibibio and Annag towards Ndi-Igbo especially through Helen Esuene. The federral government neglected the Owerri-PH road which is a federal responsibility. Now, if you were coming from Onitsha, the Owerri-Onitsha road is in good form until Obirinze. One begins to wonder at what point in Owerri you started to see the decaying infrastructures and battalion of women seeking for men. Everything from the control post to Obirinze are mostly new projects. |

Duru1:Don't Feel hurt over my comment because I Was only responding to your brother who tried to run down Calabar only to uplift his own town. Although most of the things I wrote up there are truth but I said it in defence of Calabar which gave me my mom. for the decaying infrastructures I will not post it yet at least for now. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Duru1(m): 2:41pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:I shall not be perturbed to say that anybody of Ibibio or Annang ancestral background cannot put a hurting on my feeling due to long closeness cultivated between them and Ndiigbo particularly my family. Now, there are few misguided trolls among each group which is understandable due to human complexity. However, we must watch when our criticisms become borderline insults. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 2:45pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
Duru1:Brother me don't take it thus, like as I said only retorted when I saw what an Igboman wrote about Calabar. We are supposed to be one people if not for state creation. |

THE ONLY PERSON WHO GETS ANGRY OVER DEVELOPMENTS IN IMO STATE IS CHINO. I WONT BE SURPRISED IF THIS EKAFINE IS CHINO BECAUSE NO CALABAR PERSON WILL HAVE THE TIME TO BAD MOUTH IMO STATE OUT OF JEALOUSY. Abagworo: |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Afam4eva(m): 2:53pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
LordNaya:When Abagworo raised the alarm, I had to check some of the earlier posts made by ekafine and immediately I saw her posting pictures of Ibadan brown zinc and state that Psquare are number one in Africa, it rang a bell. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 2:55pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
LordNaya:U people should stop calling me chino. Wat is wrong with all of u. I am not from calabar but from Akwaibom but by the virtue of my mom coming from crossriver that was why I replied the guy that tried to say thrash about Calabar. I didn't comment on this thread because I saw development but because of the insult. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 2:59pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
Afam4eva:Was that the only thing u saw about me? I have joined the igbos several times to fight yorubas on this nairaland. Check my posts. well I don't want to prove anything to anybody because who I am remains intact. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Afam4eva(m): 3:01pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:Isn't that another trademark old yours? You insult Enugu and Imo state but unite with other Igbos to insult Yoruba. Vintage. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 3:04pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
Afam4eva:I joined nairaland few months back. Check my profile. so I dont know wat u mean by vintage.wen I got to nairaland I noticed rivalry btwn igbos and yorubas but I decided to pitch my tent with the igbo who are closest to me.it was in defence of Calabar and ph that had something to do with some igbo states. That is all |

Ekafine, Generation and Obioha you people should be ashamed of yourselves for bringing this senseless comparison into this thread. Who the hell started the useless dick measuring in the first place to extent of tarnishing the image of many hardworking female folks in the both state. For those of us who have had the privilege of staying in both Calabar and Owerri we can gladly say that we're proud of the achievements of both cities so far. Both towns are unique for their stunning ability to tie their major IGR to tourism even when other neighbouring states rely on oil for survival. Calabar: may have dwindled in influence these past years as a result of bad interstate roads, oil wells revocation, less influx of tourists into the state and the decline of Tinapa, yet the city still holds the enviable record as the number 1 tourist state in Nigeria. The state is blessed with fascinating mountains and plateaus as well as a close access to the sea. The paradise state as it is called still performs it's annual Calabar carnival as well as hosting the magnificent Obudu cattle ranch and other astonishing wonders of nature. Once the state government corrects some of the listed drawbacks, revive the Obudu mountain race and other activities, Calabar will be no stopping in tourism. Owerri Located in the eastern heartland, Owerri is fast rising to become the number 1tourist destination in Nigeria. One good charm about Owerri is it's proximity to virtually all major cities you can find in the east. Owerri sits in the middle of the commercial cities of Asaba/Onitsha and Aba/Uyo to the east and west, Enugu/Awka to the North and Port-Harcourt/Yenagoa to the south. This closeness to these big cities spurns an influx of tourist visitors into the state, attracted mainly by its serenity and good number of high class hotels, eateries and night clubs. Owerri is reputed to have the highest number of standard hotels in the whole of the federation with more springing up each day. If the government can continue with it tourism initiatives and probably connect more tourist attractions like the Oguta blue lake and other new innovations, Imo would be the state to beat in the future. |

Chiwude:u quoted me right i have absolutely nothing to loose if your state progresses but what pissed me off was that someone sat down and talked thrash about calabar. i can't imagine that some people are comparing my calabar with owerri. owerri can pass for a stop over for travelers on that route because of good population of girls in the town. calabar is a class. it's an insult to compare both places, as calabar receives both national and international visitors. owerri is a local champion when compare to calabar, they should fix that road that links rivers and many other interstates roads first. below is what we are talking about. calabar is theplace.

this is what tourism entails and not building of those hotels that are daily filled by roadside prostitutes. this is tourism

this is what we mean by tourism facilities and not those ramshackle low budget hotels. this is calabar
|
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Afam4eva(m): 4:23pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:Is that in Calabar. I don't know why some of you just choose to be illiterate. It seems you don't know the difference between Calabar and Cross River state. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 4:24pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
no place in nigeria can take the place of calabar and uyo in tourism, we are the king here the same way you are king in those roadside stuff ![]()

| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 4:25pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
Afam4eva:yes that is crossriver afterwards obudu and calabar are still in crossriver. now show me similar places or do u want to show me those low budget hotels? |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 4:28pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:Hahaha! Calabar is the number 1 in tourism we all know that. The backlash came because you called Owerri a den of cheap prostitute and went further to invite one Ikwerre imposter Hopeathand to come to your defence. What were you thinking when you made that careless statement. You of all people should have known the comment was uncalled for, even as you made it look like Imo is anti-South/South. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 4:36pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
Chiwude:yes i made that comment about owerri though its the truth becos of the similar comment somebody made about calabar. i called hopeathand becos i felt that igbos are at it again not that i cannot defend my argument. |

I wonder why people still finds it hard to identify any moniker that belongs to that grumpy old nigga called chino..That ekafine is chino and i can bet my life for it. You people should ignore the bitter old troll and let him continue in his foolery.. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by ekafine(f): 4:54pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
oilykid:keep fooling yourself. whatever you think of me does not change who i am. call me anything you want but nobody talks sh1ts about calabar here. nuff said. we are the leader ![]()

ekafine:mumu!! I pray that sense won't pass you by next year..I hope to see you as a changed man that has grown brains and quit internet trolling..You spend all day on the internet trolling that most times, shame begins to catch me to what an old man like you has reduced his self to ![]() |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 4:59pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:Look at how empty Obudu and TINAPA look. The arguments are unnecessary as no one has argued about the billions of Dollars invested by Donald Duke Government but the problem is low patronage. In as much as Owerri has better and higher budget Hotels than Calabar(Metropolitan is not up to Concorde or Rockview) Calabar has more natural and artificial tourist attractions. However the god of tourism seems to have favored Owerri in patronage. https://www.nairaland.com/1424380/what-happened-tinapa/1 https://www.nairaland.com/101617/tinapa-dead http://africanheraldexpress.com/blog8/2015/09/20/cross-river-tinapa-and-matters-arising/ http://pointblanknews.com/pbn/articles-opinions/new-governors-please-beware-of-tinapa/ |
