cosmatika:I support this call too. This is where these crazy politicians on our social media would come in handy we need better policies. Bro can you post this on twitter so that people like Ben Murray Bruce would read and take the required step??My two cents though...... |

mcluy:I see, did anybody force you to, I believe this is suppose to a passion and not pain, the challenges are what u sign in to do. You don't know challenge yet until u asked an army recruit which is in any way faces more challenge then u. |

dohyn:You display your pathologic and pathetic ignorance again. No one is foolish to think emergency services are free anywhere in the world. However, it is only in a primitive society with inept doctors that instead of stabilizing a patient, instead look for who to quickly refer to, or ask money first from a dying patient that needs urgent care. Should we do an incision and drainage to drain the pus out of your brain, so at least you can reason a little and have some common sense? -CramJones |
| Re: My Bitter Experience As A Doctor Today by Lexusgs430: 8:52am On Dec 27, 2015 |
flamingtiger:I do not disagree with you. But the point still remains, that funding or mismanagement is still the issue!!!! If a Government hospital rejects an emergency patient at the point of living or dying, it simply speaks volumes!!! |
| Re: My Bitter Experience As A Doctor Today by Boss13: 8:52am On Dec 27, 2015 |
Uten9z:You can imagine. You look into their eyes and you see these nonchalant, "I don't care" attitude. They destroyed our health care system and want the government to fix it so they can destroy it again. Chief medical director will always pocket monies allocated to government hospitals, apart from pocketing ghost doctors salaries in the remuneration list. There is a huge rot in our health care system perpetrated by these devils and vampires and they have the guts to throw tantrums at the government. Let them look at themselves in the mirror and be honest |

Government should revitalize the NHIS. That's the only way such ugly situation can be curbed. RIP to the dead. |

1miccza:So a politician from Abuja should come and do his work for him? A politician should help him start the ABC of resuscitation. I just can't believe how stuupid some people are. Please don't tell me you are this stuupid! -CramJones |

This same useless health policy and nonchalant attitude of health workers resulted in the death of my uncle in the year 2001. ![]() I don't think I have good blood for any medical practitioner in this country, especially nurses. |

cramjones:I know of countries where emergency treatments, are free!! And countries that would simply not ask any questions, at the point of emergency treatments, they simply save a life, has best and questions asked later. Oga cramjones, you are getting very emotional about this issue. I admire your zeal. May our Government do what is right and fund our health services properly. Health is wealth!!!! |
| Re: My Bitter Experience As A Doctor Today by Boss13: 8:56am On Dec 27, 2015 |
cramjones:My brother God bless you. You need to sit down with doctors, they reason like that man. Who would help you solve your problems. They are however, very quick to catch the strike bus, which they do annually. Vampires |

Lexusgs430:Who told you that the health sector is not funded. Is it because EFCC is busy with other sectors. Please look inwards. Those killing the health sector are the very people working in the health sector. Look inwards, your Judas is amongst you. |

cosmatika:Mr man or Mr Dr go and sit down. If the young lady was your sister would you have folded your hand and watch her die because one senior whatever gave an order. I know you're feeling guilty and your conscience is waging serious war against you... But guess what, you are indeed guilty. Luckily there might be a second chance for you to clear your guilt, make sure you act wisely |
| Re: My Bitter Experience As A Doctor Today by Boss13: 9:00am On Dec 27, 2015 |
naijaboiy:Nurses are the least. They follow the trend. The healthcare sector is a polluted sector. |

flamingtiger:Health care provision is an important requirement, for the rich and the poor. But our Government's seem to ignore the basics and only conscious about lining thier own pockets!!!! There is no reason why health care, cannot be free for oil!!! Nigeria has a nation can fund it!!! |

| Re: My Bitter Experience As A Doctor Today by Nobody: 9:04am On Dec 27, 2015 |
cosmatika:Where is MDCN, can they identify who this idiot is? Just imagine what this kid is saying? Yes, you are a house officer! You are the FIRST LINE doctor for goodness sake! You do not need permission from your senior to attend URGENTLY to critically injured patients. All you need to do is to act FIRST and to act FAST! You are lucky Nigeria is the way it is, by now you would be facing a big criminal prosecution of negligence and ineptitude leading to the death of patients. -CramJones |
| Re: My Bitter Experience As A Doctor Today by Lexusgs430: 9:04am On Dec 27, 2015 |
Boss13:Hence you look at other areas like mis- management of funds, has you claim funding is not the issue. We has Nigerians, simply do not like ourselves!!! My Judas? Hmmmmmmmm |

cramjones:oga, you have come with your madness this morning..A society is "primitive" filled with "inept" doctors and you expect it to work? You think that by throwing the few medical terms u know around, you will effect a change? luckily for you,you have found a woman to support your foolish argument here,as you always do. continue |

I called other HOs, only 2Note: first action: called other HOS second action: called MO (for instructions), who on d spot asked him to TOUCH NOT/ABSTAIN FROM TREATMENT! 3rd action: He "was incapacitated" and so watched her die! 4th action: he took pictures of her corpse! (Guess she must be pretty that much). #perv! Note: NO mention made of ANY form of first aid! #siddon-look tinz! |

Boss13:Those nurses are always too rude to patients. I've not been to a hospital where I see a very warm and caring nurse. Their attitude alone can even make the ailment of the patient worse. Sad! |

annamaria:Thank you for taking out time to carefully analyze the lame doctor's actions. I just could not stomach his negligence. He allowed that young lady to die. He watched her die for the pleasure of financial gains. However, I feel for him because he is grieving, but there are many of them who are heartless and will not blink an eye. |
| Re: My Bitter Experience As A Doctor Today by Nobody: 9:09am On Dec 27, 2015 |
dohyn:The society is primitive, thanks to a house officer that does not even know why he is a house officer. A house officer that thinks that the first thing to do in an emergency situation is to call his second on call. And the lazzy ass second on call, wanting to avoid work tells the inept and clueless house officer to tell the patients to go if they don't have money! If you support such a profoundly broken system, then you are part of the problem. -CramJones |
