Negative sir. they is no confusion. we are just saying the same thing in different reference point. in physics they is something called relativity. it means you can be in your own frame of reference and calculate something and get a different value from what I have yet we are both correct.

Toks2008 u can't convince a mind bout these things because they are spiritualy discerned, anyone who wants to be ignorant should remain ignorant but twont stop u from preaching the gospel until the glory of the knowledge of God covers the earth like the water covers the sea, the old covenant has eaten deep into our consciousness such that we don't believe nd can't receive things that are freely given to us by God, am so proud of u brother, rule nd reign in life boss.

Well, billions of people have died since the world began. They all wait in "Sheol". The word "Sheol" (Hebrew) was thought synonymous with Greek "Hades". Perhaps the ambiguity of Greek "Hades" in Greek mythology (if you have read some, you will see my point) probably made the translators from Hebrew to Greek to mostly retain the original Hebrew "sheol" in the Greek Bible. But still, Hades is still mentioned 11 times in the Bible. In the New Testament. Once used to mean grave and 10 times to mean hell.

Remember that the Hebrew Bible was first translated into Greek in 200 BC. In Africa by the way. Alexandria to be precise. A foremost place of scholarship/university back then.

Sheol is mentioned in the Bible 65 times. It is used to mean hell exactly 31 times, grave 31 times and pit/abyss 3 times.

Now that Bible writers/translators use sheol to mean grave and hell equal number of times, how do you know for sure that some people are in hell now?

Well, some claim that "Gehenna" explains it better. Remember Gehenna, that valley outside Jerusalem where some Jews sacrificed their children to idols? See Lev. 18:12, 1Kings.11:5. It became a refuse dump that was always on fire to burn the waste produced by people of Jerusalem. This symbolically represents the initial place of torment before judgement. For those whose souls are already lost. The Lake of Fire will be final place.

Having discussed this matter with experts in eschatology, I find it hard to believe that there is currently hell fire for dead sinners.
After judgement, then yes.

You can't fool God. Your write-up is misleading. Jesus didn't die for you to keep on committing sin. There is nothing like automatic forgiveness for sins of TOMORROW. Once you vow to God to forgive you of your past sins, keep that vow, Go and sin no more says Jesus. There is no automatic fogieness for sins of tomorrow.

Mr Tok, i was laughing when i was reading your article, not because you weren't preaching the truth, but because many Christian reading it will not understand it at all cos all they were taught by their head is salvation by works. That is why some pastors will condemn caving of the bears, bangles, wrist watch, jean trousers and banning of television. If truly they have holy spirit they won't be mindful of sin but rather focus on Jesus and what he did on the cross for us. It seems the law of moses has eaten deep into many churches and they find it very hard to accept the free gift given to them by God through faith in Christ. I believe the life i live today isn't mine, since i was crucified with christ and was raised with him, now it is the holy spirit that controls your action and guides you on what to do. If you have the holy spirit in you my dear you will be the one forcing yourself to sin, and that is what i called living above. But the sweetest part of this kinda life is that i contributed nothing to it, that is i didn't achieve it by my own strength or struggle. This is exactly what the OP was saying

The Word of God can help us stop sinning.

Romans 6:23-23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 10: 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
I too struggled with sexual immorality until one day the temptation came and I think I said (I must have received help from the Lord)- THE SEXUALLY IMMORAL SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD
The temptation eased up. And i thought the word of God can help the homosexuals or other sinners too.They can say when tempted

4.Many people in hell fire today have no business been there but because they gave up their salvation making conclusions that they are no good for GOD's kingdom.


Giving your life to Christ and living a righteous life sometimes do not come automatically.It takes the work of the Holy spirit to perfect your salvation whereas accepting Jesus as lord as Saviour is a decision.

When i was young i usually get mocked when i do somethings that are not expected of a "Born again" Christian and i would have easily given up way back. This is the case of many people burning in hell today..they voluntarily gave up their salvation because they found themselves doing those things they use to do before they accepted Christ but if only they knew that all they need to do is to fight on and ask the holy spirit to perfect their salvation,they would have been made a better believer by the help of the holy spirit.

The bible says its not by power or by might but by my spirit says the lord.(Zechariah 4:6)


5. Most of the Bible heroes were not righteous by human standard.


The Bible does not attempt to conceal the foibles of the great people that adorn its pages. Abraham, Isaac, Moses, David, etc., were normal human beings. They sinned like all other offspring of Adam who have matured to a level of personal accountability (Romans 3:10, 23). Jesus Christ was the only exception (Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:22).

6. Anytime you sin,simply go on your kneels and ask GOD to forgive you in the name of JESUS(A symbol of animal sacrifice Israelis make each time they sin against GOD and you will be automatically forgiven)

This is so interesting yet very mysterious for many people to comprehend that the grace of Christ covers any sin we commit and we can always ask for forgiveness whenever we sin and the sins will be forgiven.

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God" (Romans 5)

7.GOD never condemns you except you condemn yourself.

Stop condemning yourself friend, 99.9% of believers will battle with one sinful habit or the other till they die.Its about trusting Jesus to forgive them each time they fall into this sinful act but the first step is to accept him as your lord and savior then ask the holy spirit to help you overcome these sinful habits and try your best to allow him.

8.A true believer does not enjoy sinful acts neither plans for it or looks forward to sinning.

Paul asks "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?Absolutely not ! How can we who died to sin still live in it?Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in a new way of life.(Romans 6:1-4)

He also said “if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins”(Hebrews 10:26)


CONCLUSION: The grace of GOD is not for us to enjoy sinning and continuously ask for forgiveness but its for us to live above the power of sins in our lives.

But if everyone alive today gives their lives to Jesus and hold on to their salvation no matter how hard they struggle with sins. Heaven will be a home for all.

I have repeatedly say that you lack fundamental basis of Christianity. " Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men....
Does it mean all are saved?? negative but all CAN be saved. the first lesson in theology is that no part of the Scripture that contradicts itself.


The implication of the Hebrew 10:12 is that till eternity He has paid the price of sin for all generations unborn. At the point of salvation all your sins are forgiven. Because we after salvation has no nature of sin in us the Bible does not assume you to sin any longer. that was what John was saying in first john. but if at any point in your Christian race, you fell into sin, John told us that they is the blood of Jesus which we should quickly use.

by the implication of your statement in Hebrew, each time you say to someone "repent" then you have contradicted yourself, why? because Christ forgives all. so they is therefore no need for salvation because Christ forgave us all.

the op saw the verse, He has no objection towards it. All he needed what a reconciliation of it with Heb:10:12.

Salvation simply put is getting you recreated to do more good than wrong. As you walk with Christ in Faith you begin to see the possibility of doing good always. Salvation is all about moral perfection.

All the comments here are just saying stuff that are irrelevant because they have made it seem like you are encouraging sin when they do not understand. They are saying it like once you are born again, you will never sin. How possible.. Sike! Yes as a born again, sin has no power over you, but you are in this world filled with sin, that is why we have Jesus to help us overcome, and also lift us when we fall. I also gave my life to Christ when I was much younger, I dont remember the age and when but I know I did, and then whenever I sinned and I remembered every time, I would say God forgive me , God forgive me, me and my friends then thought it was a great idea, which is not how salvation works. I was saved but I was brought up with the common Nigerian teachings of RELIGION. SALVATION BY WORKS, which is 100% OPPOSITE. I would repeatedly go for the alter call, just like you said and many others especially IN NIGERIA(yes because of the RELIGIOUS mentality) have done. Not until I was about 14 or so, then I started to truly understand that, once I am saved, I am saved, and cannot lose my salvation, even though I sin when I dont want to, it's inevitable, and even sometimes consciously, the only thing I have to do is ask for forgiveness through Christ, continue to repent and it is finished. MANY CHRISTIANS do not know this, they think they lose their salvation when they fall, go back again for alter call, or lose hope and then finally faith. Infact to be honest, that mentality still tries to affect me when I fall but I know that it's the devil so I rebuke Him and also ask God to forgive me for underestimating the power of the blood of JESUS. I pray that others who read this that you have shared understand it and that it gives them a revelation.
