No one has stuck to the limits so far and I don't think that should even matter at this stage! Just go in as hard as you can on the topic!

Really? I haven't?
So after all the adherence to rules and shît, you still gonna let them have their way? 24 lines was the initial rule. I haven't been reading the other brawls but if you allow them have their way, you'll complain about judges again

Why is your conscience itchy? YOU HAVE NOT adhered to some of the "RULES" since you were one of the contestants who decided to post after a deadline had expired in your battle with "peindanzo" even after receiving early mentions and updates about YOUR topic! He had to beg the judges on your behalf REMEMBER?

I was only SUGGESTING that at this stage bars, quats and lines may not matter but a good poem might, NOT MAKING IT A RULE OF THE TOURNEY! By the way "giyazz" was the one who complained about judges NOT ME! Next time get your facts straight and don't pull allegations out of your ass when making unsubstantiated claims against a moniker as thorough as mine!

I only highlighted a wrong assumption. It was limits we're talking about. You think against Pein I didn't know I broke a rule? Did you see me protest against your verdict? I was ready to accept it and I applaud him for giving the judges the go ahead. But that's by the way

So in school, YOU were the only one taught that 'an observation made by an individual during a meaningless convo between 2 parties during a competition can automatically be judged to have had an effect on the rules in a tourney or be seen as a complaint?' Complaint to who by the way? "Giyazz or santa"

Bros! Abeg my own is to type a reply to your mentions, making you comprehend or understand valid points is not my business! Try and go and write and post your poem EARLY this time! Shalom!

I'm gonna use the topic I find the most technical when I set-up the thread tomorrow. Thanks.

First topic: Alternative Ego.

Here the finalists are meant to vividly paint a picture of a/their real or imaginary alternate ego whose subconscious takes over at a particular point in its/their life/lives. Serenading us with its/their activities, modus operandi, the struggle to keep in touch with its existence, the pains of trying to control this alternate ego from spiraling out of control, the pains of people thinking he's mad for suggesting there exist a different him from the normal him everyone already knows, its merits and demerits, etc.

Second topic: Childhood Superstitions.

Both finalists are required to talk about the various superstitions they encountered whilst growing up, the positive or negative impact it had on them and if possible, still has on them till this day. The fears it brought to them, the good things they lost while clinging onto them, and most importantly, the major roles they think they play in shaping the lives of the average Nigerian toddler.

Nice,I can dig it,though I'm leaning towards the latter more, based on the grasping level for the viewers.

More suggestions are welcome.

Me too, I can relate more with the latter coz it's part and parcel of most (if not all) Nigerian children. The first is more complex, that's why I gave both examples, so you can finally choose one out of the pool of choices the other judges will suggest from.
