What baffles me is most Nigerians' misunderstanding of the legal system. A man who commits an obvious crime where the evidence is indisputable is taken to court only for sentencing after the formalities of trial.

That kanu was on radio and youtube committing treason is beyond doubt.

That Dasuki shared out armaments fund is also beyond question, as testified to by Dasuki himself and his minions.

We dont need a judge to determine that fact.

Just because a criminal is yet to be convicted and sentenced doesnt make him any less guilty as long as his crime was in no doubt.

If you caught a thief in the act of stealing in your house, would you say he's innocent until the court says otherwise? How about if you caught a rapist on top your wife? Or a man who robbed you at gunpoint?

The essence of courts is not always to determine guilt or otherwise, but most often it's to convict and punish appropriately the guilty.

If a crook was honest enough to plead guilty, no time is wasted on trials.

PMB was right to call Kanu and Dasuki criminals.

You didnt obey a court order granting someone bail. Now you sent the person back on fresh charges, do you now obey the same court ruling if it indicts the person. If yes, will that not be selective justice? Picking which court order to obey.
Let's say the person got a good lawyer and is still later acquitted, will the state still refuse to release him? Will that not be perversion of justice? A case of pronouncing someone guilty before he is charged and just looking for court to rubber-stamped?
Will the same court whose order have been refused to be obeyed still have the moral conscience to even sit and indict such persons again?
Infact Buhari government is already taken Nigeria into anarchy and dictatorship but he doesn't know. But am I surprised? NO! If you can have an Amaechi who shut down court for more than two years in your cabinet and you claim your minister are not corrupt, then the President moral sense is warped. He can't definitely eradicate injustice and corruption in Nigeria. Nigerians better forget that anything sensible and just can come from Buhari government.

The president, and all of us by revelation of Dasuki himself, already know that he committed a lot of atrocities. To rely on some compromised judges to want to escape justice should NEVER be tolerated any longer. Our democracy has not evolved to the extent of granting bail indiscriminately to looters and we need a sincere leader as Buhari to bring some of these crooks to justice. We have to break the cycle where looters buy judgement with part of their loots and escape justice. It is what has been happening in Nigeria and IT MUST STOP SOMEHOW.

Do you think if Dasuki had been allowed to go abroad for "treatment" he would have returned to reveal all he has?
