Tonye, i like you but sometimes you behave like a kid, Gas is the future of hydro carbons. You keep attacking the igbos in every post, Dont worry, when the times comes, you and your kinsmen will be forced to accept the igbos as your brothers, Take a look at japan, take a look at china, do they have Oil, now take a look at the east, take a look at what the igbos are doing. Nairaland isnt nigeria, realities on ground suggest otherwise. Please and please stop creating enmity for your region, it will do you guys no good. do you know igboland has the highest reserve of onshore Gas in Nigeria? it is cheaper to drill onshore than offshore but we are not happy over it, we look inward and that is where i expect the ijaws and urhobo to learn from, you are closer culturally to us, why dont you utilize it. The ibibios and efiks love the igbos and will never trade them for any other ethnicity, we marry more amongst ourselves than any other group, we both invented nsibidi, that shows we have been brothers since ages, dont mind the geographical nonsense called south south!
some ppl think that what ever is continously asserted on nairaland becomes the gospel truth. Tonye is an Ijaw man, Niger delta is wat he use to cover their inadequacies in his anti igbo rhetorics cause he can't measure up in tribal comparison.

It is unfair and false to say that I tackled Igbos. If you read the article you quoted, there was no mention of Igbo or any ethnic group. I don't know how you got that.

Secondly, I am NOT against SS/SE or SS/NW or SS/SW unity or cooperation, I'm 100% for it as unity is strength. That doesn't mean we should be cajoled into an ipon Biafra project that doesn't represent our need. We have to draw the line!

As for South-South, it is a geopolitical area that has come to stay sir!
Even if it has come to stay u should be honest enof to differentiate geopolitical boudary with tribal boundary. secondly, nobody is cajoling anybody into biafra, u are not greater than the numerous SEners against biafra.
Which law recognizes south south. The eastern region was constituanally reconized but u claim igbos are dragging other when they refer to eastern region, how can ijaw now drag others in the name of unconstitutional South south??

why is one always attaching itself to the oda?...can't SE stand alone?.....
you are still not getting it. No one is Attaching SE to south south. The 20 richest men in Nigeria are dominated by hausa, yoruba and igbo(including igbos of delta state). I dont think any of those rich igbo men was "made" as a result of south east/south south. Stop attachment.
Stop putting so much importance on ss, the average ss man is not more educated or rich than his sE counterpart.
Mind you i am ss

But do we igbos have to shun them, they are our brothers, we are all easterners bro, we need to fight against this evil
This might sound outrageous but it is the pratical truth. "you can never save everybody in life" the igbos will not save the ijaws without any collateral damage on the igbo race.

Some people are "DAMNED"(damnation/condemnation) as long as Nigeria is concerned. If igbos continue on the path of "justice 4 all" they will be condemned with these people. You cant always be the good boy. If igbos will submit themselves and be loyal just as the yorubas did to the lanlords of Nigeria(hausa/fulani) the igbo people will have no problem and our lost lands/glory will be restored. It is in the best interest of igbos to remain in nigeria and join in the pillage and rape of the minorities.

You cant save a man who do not want to be saved

you dont save a man that wants to drown Lest you drown with him

Good people dont last, only the wise/cruel does.
Igbos cant continue to be the good guys. We got to submit to the trend of things

we need true federalism brother , sometimes I think about the oil spillage and also think about the billions spent on desert encroachment in the north and I wonder if they take the ijaws as humans, huh, oil has killed every living thing , both plants and fishes, and if this oil depletes, what happens to the livelihoods of those that are affected, we all shout agriculture agriculture! What about the oil spilled lands of the people the money used to diversify the economy emanates from? What happens to their own agriculture? why are these people in government wicked! Why are they using another region's wealth to solve another region problem, leaving the region where the money is gotten from to decay.

Nna mehn we gats fight for true federalism else, when oil depletes, igboland will be the next area of interest. nigeria's strategic reserves is in igboland, I know this, if we are ever going to increase our reserves, it is igboland that has the capacity to habour huge reserves of oil and gas.

Chai I weep embarassed

This is the gospel truth. Eurobomber, I and some other folks have been saying these things to our brothers, but it all fell on deaf ears. The earlier some fools begin to use their heads, the better for us all. Just imagine the comment that dude made! Brothers what? We are brothers to only those who regard us in good times and in bad times.

I earlier mentioned that the country should allow for true federalism...But it is obvious all the other zones are still waiting patiently for the oil price so that they abandon the alternatives presented now...don't mind the loud mouths who are saying oil is becoming useless...if oil is becoming useless oya allow us control the oil resource fully na wahala..May I inform many here that most of the owners of oil Wells are non Niger deltans and also many employees of the oil companies are non Niger deltans,so what ever they say here like they don't care about oil is All a farce...we Niger deltans have been too foolish and welcoming to allow non Niger deltans run the affairs of oil and gas for too long..

Let us push for resource control now that oil price is at an all time low..

We would produce gas, build refineries, generate power ,fish and export, engage in palm oil export, rice farming etc...Make I see why we no go progress ....
God bless you

what will be will be.
Anybody trying to steal anyones land should keep wishing, any group can term itself anything as far as no part of igbo land is involved.
Igbos are blessed from the land of anioma in delta to Oyigbo in Rivers.
God bless Igbo land.
God bless Niger delta.
