Following President Buhari's media chat yesterday which has attracted criticisms from some Nigerians like Fani Kayode,Ogundamasi and others,Gov Peter Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has aired his view[i][/i] on Buhari's media chat.According to him,Buhari has shown Nigerians that our judiciary system does not matter to him.

'Absolutely, President Buhari has told us that our judiciary do not matter. May be he can take a step further by closing the courts'.

For the fools who are hailing him, be informed this is not about Dasuki or Kanu, but about your rights.

If we continue on the path of Buhari, the next President will do worse than him, because Buhari would have set the precedent. Then, another president will do even worse than the next President. Gradually, our courts and constitution would become useless as nobody will obey court rulings again. This is what should bother you.

I think Buharis references to Nnamdi KANU and Dasuki were lost in translation. Buhari said KANU has two passports and he used neither of them to enter the country. The court granting him bail means he has to deposit his passport, passport he doesn't need to escape the country seeing as he came in illegally. Dasuki case is more controversial. The morality of setting the man free is what is rattling the President. 2 million kids in IDPs, thousands of homes destroyed. Because this man diverted money meant to fight insurgents. We can't let him walk free or escape justice.
If you guys are so high on the rule of law, you should check how the US has been illegally hunting Julian Assange all over the world. Or how Edward Snowden has been hunted illegally like an animal worldwide. Or how the US has kept Muslims in Guantanamo bay. There are just rare cases where the rule of law and justice need to be sidelined for the greater good.
