media arresting, hallmark of a propaganda government. trust me, nothing will happen
When something finally happens and they give somebody 375 years imprisonment for corruption na una go begin complain.Even the rigorous bail conditions for looters is a good beginning. And one final word,if it is the same PMB that jailed people back then in 1984 for corruption,if it is the same Baba that did everything possible to bring Umaru Dikko back to Nigeria to return our rice money back then ,THEN trust me it is not just media arrest, trust me something will happen.Baba may have grown older and things may have slowed down because this is a democracy but the same Baba that did not fall my hand in 1984 will not fall my hand in 2016,2017,2018,2019-2023(God bless PMB with long life in good health to serve Naija well). To add Jara,I have more confidence in PMB with crude oil price at 10 dollars per barrel than with GEJ with crude price at 500 USD PER barrel.

Does the EFCC have the jurisdiction to arrest an army officer? Thought that is the work of the military police? Someone educate me please
Our EFCC is now working like FBI. Jerry Rowlings of Ghana did more than this to the corrupt politicians in Ghana, and they all liked him.

You are getting it wrong bro. They are not jumping court oreders persay, but rather picking the charges one by one. They know that our criminal law system is full of loopholes so they (the Efcc) exploit it to the authority's advantage for maximum result.

@odinese, Aii bro, i had to take the stress of visiting bleacher report with the help of my friends to confirm your claim about 'no lie only truth' by one lebron. To begin with. Bieacher report is not new to me when it comes to politics but for sport items and articles, i do roll with Goal.com, Dailymail and Espn online. I take an exception to 'copy'which you opted for, it tells that you are really begging the question, as such, you appear very assuming. How sure are you that the guy in qiestion does not copy it from me? How long has he been using it? Does he have a franchise to it?(don't think so) However there is one thing for sure, different minds do have similar ideas. Which i guess plays out. Nothwithstanding, it's all for the love of identity. I do have another signature too like" the truth has spoken". Do you have any? If yes, roll with it. Happy new year bro, share some fun.

What is $2.2b when some of us have seen people waste $2m within a tiny fraction of time from just having fun? Add that up for every time they live that livestyle. Haven't you heard of spots that require at least a quarter of a million $ for membership just so you can get in to see what's happening on the other side?

When it's free money, it's easy to assume more of it will come again. So, some are big time spenders. Na some of us this kind money they give heart attack.

The amount of time some people spend on cursing Dasuki here on Nairaland on this $2.2b is probably less than the amount of time some people spend making the same amount of money for themselves. Poverty is what's making some us think he stole what the whole world is worth. That's really what some people can afford to lose and legally make back in weeks with properly laid out plans.

FG has decided to play their game with them this time around. Usually these people are charged to court on 100 plus charges, they get a very good criminal minded SAN as a lawyer (there's a very popular one I don't want to mention), then they are granted bail and they start prolonging the case using nonsense adjournment and Ghana must go influenced injunctions here and there. Now! Instead of slamming them with such charges at once, FG is dishing them out "small-small" grin So, when they face one judge for some charges, he grants them bail, they are "released" and immediately they step out of prison, they are rearrested again to face fresh charges grin in so doing they can be kept in jail for long and the trial process will hasten up. This is totally in order. I can see Prof. Itse Shagay is advising Baba well grin

I don't care if they shoot, kill or maim them. I'm more concerned about the integrity of the armed forces which surpasses that colonel. he is a serving member of the army. I think the efcc should have communicated to the defence intelligence agency who will work together with the Military police to effect his arrest. He would then be court marshalled, dismissed and handed over to the EFCC for trial.

Now that he has been arrested, would he be tried by a civilian court?

Exactly my point bro. They can't just arrest him like that without him being court Marshalled first. In fact, there will be a big problem between the military and EFCC if such happens.

Where were you when the same m0f0s use their blood money to manipulate the law and it's justices?

Are you privy to what new/old charges he is re-arrested for?

Rule of law . . . SMH. What law is being violated?

Where were you when fine young men of the Nigerian Army were sentenced to death for refusing to commit suicide?

Take a trip to the IDP camps, and come back and tell me that nonsense about 'rule of law'.

I wonder what you do for a living, but over 90% of Nigerians are suffering painfully largely because of this type of men -- 'rule of law'?
