Buhari Has No Right To Declare Kanu, Dasuki Guilty - Fayose by Heazy2015(m): 6:56pm On Jan 01, 2016 |
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state commented on the tone of President Muhammadu Buhari during the December 30 presidential media chat in the section that concerned some of the ‘controversial’ prisoners Nigeria has at the moment. He also called on international organisations to focus their attention on human rights abuses and contempt for the rule of law in the country come 2016. “I warned several times that those that were promoting this lion would end up in its belly. Having heard from the President himself declaring Dasuki and Nnamdi Kanu guilty even before trial, Nigerians should be prepared for a return of the 1984 experience in which Buhari’s military tribunal sentenced people to jail terms ranging from 21 to 300 years, such that the Nigerian Bar Association had to boycott the tribunal,” Fayose was quoted by TheGuardian. The governor mentioned he was not really surprised that Buhari justified the disobedience of court orders by the Department of State Security (DSS). In the statement, Lere Olayinka, Fayose’s special assistant on public communications and new media, he also noted that this was not the first time the president was displaying the ‘hallmark of a dictator’. This Wednesday President Buhari could not dodge answering the questions about the further fate of Nnamdi Kanu and Sambo Dasuki. Both of them have been granted bail, the order that has been ignored by the DSS. The president explained that Nigerians simply did not know all the horrible details on the crimes committed by the two. Therefore, Kanu and Dasuki simply do not deserve being released on bail. Buhari do not want to see them ‘relaxing in London’. https://www.naij.com/683423-nigeria-slowly-returning-1984-prepare-worse-governor-fayose.html/?vincent&utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_group=free |

Fayose should atleast keep shut for once. Stop embarrassing yourself for what you know nothing about. This is all about National Security issue not Ponmo, Fish cutting or Amala issue here. Osama bin laden was never convicted or trial by any court of law, and above all, the navy SEALs captured him alive and still went ahead and killed him and heaven never fall. Both Dasuki and Kanu will be rock to sleep and nothing will happen. Do anyhow and see anyhow. The Era of lawlessness is over. Fayose, watch your back. 1 Like |

Unless your IQ is extremely below average (which I suspect Fayose's is), you'll know they are guilty. The court proceedings is just formalities. And besides PMB didn't say they are guilty, he just gave a reason why their bail should be thwarted by all means...expecially Kanu, I heard he's in league with Bin Ladin in his ability to hide under rocks and tunnel like a rat. |

Let us stop being sentimental and face the truth...is there anything fayose said there that is not true The fact that u don't like someone doesn't mean that u should purposely dodge the truth... We are in a democratic era and except u want us to go back to dictatorial era, i don't see any reason why court orders are not obeyed...this is one of the reasons NK calls us zoo...the ability to not follow order... This is where NK has trapped us....the court discharges someone and the government says no...this means the courts are not competent enough, then there is no need having courts...u can't convince a court that someone is guilty yet u keep telling people he is guilty... we are supporting buhari now to disobey court orders all in the name of fighting corruption...why not start from the judiciary and fight the corruption since u think they give the wrong judgements...some people are even saying that we should go back to dictatorship and I am laughing... Guys u that is supporting disobeying court rules will regret it when it comes to your turn and when everything backfires, u will only end up blaming buhari, forgetting that u supported him... Let us follow due process and everything will fall in place...two wrongs can't make a right.. |

Nigeria has been declared a zoo by Buhari and his bamboozled followers. In sane countries, Buhari's outburst/interference with the judiciary is an ample reason to strike out the case of kanu and dasuki. Why try them in the court when you are convinced they indeed commited said offence? I pray buhari disobeys more court rules so we can enjoy the ensuing anachy . Who knows buhari's actions/inactions will fasten the disintegration of this damnable zoo republic |
