Pls if it doesn't stop take him to the hospital asap, don't mean to scare you but my sisters ds also had same problem and when they got to the hospital they were admitted and drip was administered to him, while there 3 babies were admitted that same evening and the hospital staff were complaining that they have been having such cases recently. Also, same thing is happening in my aunt's area in kano too.

I used canesten cream from head to toe and I also rubbed olive oil and comb out after allowing it to sit for sometime.

Pls mamas, I bot ds breast pump, But cudnt use it cos I feel its nt Gud. Is it posible dat a breast pump wil not b effective or its me dat doesn't no how 2 use it. I feel like cryin anytime I want 2 use it butvit wunt pump.
Pls Wo has used ds type n how does it work? Pls mamas come 2 my aid, as I cant afford 2 buy anoda 1.

I used this for my 3kids, though I didnt pump always cos I didn't have to. But it pumps well, I even dashed it out after my 3rd baby.
Be sure you fixed all d part correctly.

It is well my dear sister..my daughter was also diagnosed of adenoids when she was 4months old.She is over 2years noww but her dad does not want her to be operated open.During cold period or when she has cattargh that is when you hear her snoring @ night but during d day time she becomes fine.We use antibiotics for her whenever its serious.I learnt they outgrow it as they grow older.

Is the discharge much as in copious? You can use penicillin eye ointment if it isn't much

Ladies, please speak to a paediatrician. The eye infection could be caused by anything and I don't think anyone should casually be using penicillin without asking her doctor first (you don't know what is causing the discharge). As for the cough and cold, keep baby warm and go to the hospital. You've tried handling it for a week and nothing has changed. Don't you think it's time to consult a doctor what you can do in the meantime is stop using any sort of powder for now (so as not to aggravate it/make it worse), it's already been mentioned but if you've tried saline drops, steam and co and no improvement, then see a doctor.

In my own opinion, yes. The earlier the better.

I wore hand mittens for my son everyday when I noticed he was sucking his fingers often at 3 months. Anytime the mittens were off and he had fingers in his mouth, I always removed them.

Now, he's 4 months and he has stopped. He no longer wears the mittens.
