I really don't understand what the fuss is about! Lil kesh's song may be more popular, it does not by any means make them better!! Reekado banks has more fans than lil kesh - u can confirm from social media to clear ur doubts!! The caliber of fans the mavin crew has is completely different from Ybnl fans! People were asked to vote for their favorite acts and lil kesh kept imploring his fans to vote for him, even more than the other artistes in the category. There is no need for the desperation!! Olamide needs to really watch it, I noticed his puffed ego when I listened to eyan mayweather - pride goes before a fall!!!

You guys are mistaking this issue. The award category is never about the lyrics or contents but the individual artists effort and its acceptability. if the organizer believed Kesh's lyrics is bad they shouldn't have nominate him in the first place.


The award is not about their lyrical prowess but how their acceptability and influence in the industry. Their brand of music is different and you can't expect 50cent to dish out the same lyrics as R.kelly.


They have different set of followers and the issue is how far they have been able to represent those their fans. I have never been a Mesh fan based on the same issue you raise but that is never the reason to cheat him out . Reekado is the least deserving of that award among the nominees in that category unless you can tell me Korede bello , Kiss Daniel also have lyrics issue in their music but its glaring they all have better 2015 than him.

When it comes to being featured,they killed it.kiss daniel killed dat raba song that u will even think it was his own, when it comes to ladi by olamide,phyno and kesh,kesh did very well in dat song.
Cynthia Morgan too was good.
