"I need your help me"? Come on! Anyway, whether the company is registered with GIS or not it doesn't really concern u. Just wait for a job fair near you around January, February. Or still check whether the firm has any application for intern and does it match your interest or field of studies?

Sequel to the questions that have continued to pour in through this medium on the differences in payments (Why some were paid N150,000, some received 90,000, others received 30000 while some were not paid at all) we had computed most of the backlogs posted on this page by interns and have compared it with the time sheets submitted by Employers. We had equally gone ahead to investigate claims of 9 months of none payments and have called some Employers as the case may be however one assurance that we are giving interns is that every intern deserving of payment no matter the numbers of months would be paid. Therefore we urge you to be patient and not to relent in your prayers for our team as they do the onerous task of serving Nigeria

I want to ask a very salient question, I have a friend who is supposed to round up this scheme by December 2015, his employer has finally signed his timesheet of December (dat means all his timesheet has been signed wish has been confirmed from his own page)

Furthermore, he is having serious issue with his employer since yesterday, and his employer is threatening him that he will deactivate his account, that he will make the timesheet invalid, and he will end up not having November and December stipend.

Finally, my question is, is it possible for the employer to deactivate or making his timesheet dormant even after he (the employer) has successfully filled and submitted the timesheet?? ?? ??

I don't think the employer has the power to do anything once the timesheet has been submitted and consequently appeared on intern portal. The employer is just flexing muscle after being tore. He cant really do anything to that from best of my knowledge.

However, if there's any issue that GIS will like to confirm from the employer, then be rest asure that he's gonna kick that guy ass.

The possibility is quite minimal but remember that your employer is a determinant when it comes to payment. His call, text or email might hinder your alawee.

If I may ask, why wouldn't he try the best he can to avoid any rift with his boss at this tail end. Even though you think you've almost exited the system, the experience you had still builds up your CV and your future employer might want to call your previous employers in certain cases.

...it was a gross error from him and the weight is on me as i never missed going to work...we made frantic efforts by calls and mails to ensure it's corrected but it wasn't affected despite a concrete assurance from GIS.
It would have spoilt my day if not that i suppressed it.

As for other interns especially the new ones enjoy little and invest more more. Don't say 30k is too meager to invest it is a common say that if you can't manger 1naira you can't manage 1million Naira...remember the pay doesn't comes handy therefore save for the rainy day...let's build a Nation of investors

GIS continues as annouce today by ministry of labour and productivity and two other scheme will be introduce by this administration.there is no exit in dis programme again so try to work in ur place of work. All interns will be paid all backlog and new fair will commence soon. Advise all ur friend to apply now to have their GIS code. Pls due to the TSA any worker receiving salary from federal govt shd desist from cutting corner becos it will affect ur job. Thank God all beneficially. Any interns that have problem with his or her employer shd try to resolve it amicably to avoid deleted.all interns shd aviod unnecessary questions in this platform that will bring confusion. Mostly timesheet and exit case. Pls be guilded and make friends to share ur problem with. We are begging federal minstry of finance GIS to have zonal of office or office in each state to easy access. All interns in a state or local govt shd design every last thursday of evrymonth as their meeting day. GIS will lead to permanent jobs like joke like joke. Any problem try to reach out in time for solution. Becos time will come nobody will listen again.stipend will be paid soon.

His employer can't do anything to stop is payment after marking the timesheet and with d help of outstanding claim form he will get the two months left.

What is your concern about that sentence(you might not exit as soon as you think) is that the only sentence you read in that post,what if any intern stays beyond twelve months,I hope you will hang and bury yourself in shame.I did not state that he should stay put on 30k job for his life,my statement was based on reality on ground.
