Just the other day, someone that screamed sai Buhari during campaigns opened a thread showing how he embarked on fraudulent business activities. Same person campaigned and voted for "change" but was very happy cheating others. I wouldn't be surprised if the vast majority of criminals, oloshos, fraudstars, murderers, hoodlums belong to the sai baba crew..

Nigerians are the issue with this nation. Very emotional, flinching and deeply corrupt. The average person only dreams of cheating others to make it.

This nation will definitely not progress given the fraudulent, dishonest and corrupt nature of the masses- our government only reflects our true nature as a people.

I didn't and don't expect anything meaningful from a government whose people will defend it's madness and waste. I certainly do not have any hope in such people.

You can imagine the likes of dearpreye and his co-wailers boasting how they prevailed over Buhari to have a rethink on the expenditure, in wailing term. Need i not remind you that Buhari reads newspapers & the nation newspaper at that. The newspaper particularly critique the executive overheads while calling for urgent review to depart from the extravagant past. Buhari reminds nigerians during his media chat that he is always aware of the yearnings of the masses. You need to be hypermyopic enough to realise that the executive feedback system is topnotch, aso rock is not too big to detach him from the real world unlike the fossil of sychopants who formed the walls of the seat of power during the clueless days of jonathan. PMB has stated repaetedly that our resources shall be judiciously utilised and as such a rectification to such effect is a welcome development. CHANGE listens.

I can see a host of brainless wailers rejoicing that Buhari is clueless because they hear he reviewed the budget downwards, how lame!

Just for the information of the wailers, this ability to spot extravagance and reverse it, this ability to listen to 'reasonable' criticism and do something about it, this is the exact reason why most of the Buharists like myself support the man.

From the first day I set my eyes on the budget, I asked a simple question, "Buhari and Osinbajo, are they aware of these figures?" I also said it clearly that these crazy figures must be reviewed downwards, if not now, then later. I thank God we now have a Buhari and not the old order. I can bet my life that if it was the old order, the criticism of the budget would have been dismissed and labelled by Jonathanians as an 'attack on GEJ.'

Following the outrage which had trailed the
billions of Naira allocated to the Presidency in the 2016 Budget,President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly ordered for a downward review of the budget.
DAILY POST gathered on Tuesday that the
president was angered at the bashing he was receiving over the billions allocated to his office, that of his vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, as well as Aso Rock as a whole.
Details provided by Nigeria’s budget office shows that the presidency got N19billion.

follows:
State House headquarters – N12billion;
President’s
operations – N1.9billion; Vice President’s
operations –
N322million; Chief of Staff – N2.3million; Chief
Security
Officer – N3.2million; Lagos liaison office –
N127million;
State House medical centre – N3.9billion;
Feeding
N445million.
Most of the figures are higher to allocations
budgeted for same departments in recent years under President Goodluck Jonathan.
Our correspondent gathered that despite
denials by presidential aides, Buhari has ordered that the allocation to the presidency be reduced.
Reacting, Buhari’s His Special Assistant on
Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu had on Monday
admitted that some figures in the budget were new.
“Some of these figures being quoted are strange to us.” Shehu stated.
According to him, the Ministry of Budget and
Planning have been instructed to look through the figures. Shehu advised the media to exercise patience until the federal legislature gets the details of the budget.
“When the National Assembly returns from
recess, the lawmakers will be given the full estimates of the budget, including what is voted for each department, ministries and
agencies. What is voted for the State House will
also be included,” Shehu said.
A government official however confided in
DAILY POST that
the Budget Ministry had received presidential
directive to slash the N19billion budget.
“The president became alarmed when his
attention wto called to the fact that the figures were higher to that of his predecessor, whom he criticised. He also demanded explanation on some of the allocations in view of the economic crisis.
“Expect a reduced figure. I can’t speculate by
how much, but things not really necessary will either be slashed or outrightly expunged,” he told our correspondent at an event in Lagos on Tuesday.
Buhari had on December 22, 2015 presented a
Budget estimate of N6.08 trillion to a joint sitting of the National Assembly.
Some parts of the budget have attracted
criticisms from many Nigerians, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and even members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

When we cried out over the over bloated and insensitive billions allocated for the Presidency, we were tagged wailers. A couple of days later, the President retrieved the document he didn't even see details before presenting it to the NASS and shamefully reduced the waste, and all of a sudden he's a listening President. SMH! Nigerians are the problems with Nigeria.

This isn't any case of a listening president BUT an obvious show of incompetence and inattention to details. All the same, criticisms have forced him to reduce those mind boggling absurdities in his budget.

seriously dude from the bottom of your heart pls answer me; did you make sense with this post? I wish you could throw away sentiment and read what you have written you will ask a bystander to flog you until you are saturated.....how can you be trying to curtail expenditure and you put in figures larger than the most criticised presd (gej). You saw no wrong in it, those who prepared the budget (agents of change) saw no wrong in it.......and the president blindly took it to the National Assembly where we have change lawmakers who were ready to approve the budget from the saintly one! Let's say buhari did not have time to go through the budget, agreed are you saying he did not go through the part of the budget that deals with his personal welfare? GUY! Guy!!!!.....and you believe that? Ha!!...are you saying members of the FEC did not do a preview and inform the president of the gross anomaly?
