My phone got quite hot when browsing and charging simultaneously. Not when doing either alone.

I've updated the firmware and not noticed such any longer.

you'll see a box (read only)
untick it then press back button and reboot

Nothing definite as far as I know, but updates tend to come with minor fixes and tweaks, so there could be possible slight increases in efficiency.

I just notice that my phone doesn't heat as before.
