Toyolad:Yea there are some principles followed by God.those principles where laid down by God during the creation of the universe, even before man was created.you are wrong by saying such principles are above God.That's not true, God is not like president buhari that disobeys his own court order. God is a fair judge and always obey his own laid down principles. this principles are just like the building brick used in constructing this world. now some of our actions here on earth either affect this principle bricks positively or negatively. those actions that will affect this bricks negatively is what we call sin. so the wrongness is determined by the effect on the principles and it was God on the other hand that created the principles. hope you got the point |

God love the poor so much.Jesus even said that it is very difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.That's to show you How much he love the poor. also Luke. 6:20 New Living Translation Then Jesus turned to his disciples and said, "God blesses you who are poor, for the Kingdom of God is yours. |

Judas2013:because God created us to be in his image. he created us to be God above his creatures here on earth.and in order to be truely the image of God,he gave us the gift of FREE WILL. the gift of free will means that God himself doesn't have the right to enforce his choice upon us.we were given the gift to make our own choice. that was why God didn't stop them from eating it because of free Will. God stopping them means that God is breaking his own law |

xerxesII:you are right. Christianity is not all about threatening people with hell fire.it's all about preaching the Goodnews.telling people about God's love,How he sent his only son to die for us,so as to save and redeem us for heaven.telling people that Satan want to take them to hell but God has already sacrifice his own son to save them. |

Kenneth4u205:nicely explained sir..no wonder He exalts His words higher than His name!!!...but why did God lay down these principles in the first place rather than some others...Don't you think that if He follows or guided by some principles then He's limited by them, therefore not limitlessly powerful as we claim? |

Judas2013:there were actually two donkeys, the young colt and it mother. since Jesus was only riding on one, mark,Luke and john didn't see any reason to include the other one.but the never said it was just one donkey, only overlooked the empty donkey. just like our president today do travel in convoy of many car. Jesus was also traveling in a convoy of two donkeys to Jerusalem Jesus: One Donkey or Two? Matthew 21:7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. Matthew's variation from the other Gospels on this point raises two questions -- was there one donkey or two, and did Jesus ride one or two? Strictly speaking, one could point out for the first question that there is no technical, logical contradiction, since the other Gospels do not say there was only the colt there -- they merely don't bother mentioning the mother. Yet her presence is likely in this context, even if it is not mentioned. Keener [Matthew commentary, 491] notes that an unbroken colt "might require the mother's presence to keep it calm amid shouting crowds" -- we know well enough from American rodeos what chaos an unbroken animal might cause. Then comes the question, Is Jesus riding on both donkeys? The question may be varied to say, was Jesus riding them in alteration, or (if the Skeptic has a sense of humor) on both at once -- maybe one on top of the other? Not really -- this is just an amusing grammatical ambiguity; the "them" on which Jesus sat could refer back to the clothes, not the animals. |

johnydon22:you err my brother so I will explain. the Bible only told us on Genesis 4:9 that God LATER ON asked Cain where is your brother? .take note of the phrase "later on". Genesis 4:9 9 Later on, Jehovah said to Cain: “Where is your brother Abel?” and he said: “I do not know. Am I my brother’s guardian?” so who told you that it was the same day that he killed Abel that God asked him that Question?.later on can mean one week, one month, 10 years, 50 years or even 100 years later because a thousand years is like a day in the sight of God.so later on can mean many years later and by then there were already more than three people on earth. hope you got that? |

xerxesII:actually it wasn't God that tricked the young prophet. it was the jealous old prophet that tricked him. verse 18 said but he lied to him. but trust God because he's a just judge because the old lying prophet wouldn't go unpunished also (although the Bible didn't go ahead to tell us How he end but I'm sure of that). Deuteronomy 18:19 19 Indeed, I will require an account from the man who will not listen to my words that he will speak in my name. 20 “‘If any prophet presumptuously speaks a word in my name that I did not command him to speak or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. |

Toyolad:God is limitless powerful. I have a loaded gun but choose not to shoot you because of my new year Resolution not to kill,so does that mean that you wouldn't die had I choose to shoot?. God is limitlessly powerful in the sense that he knows How to maneuver his principles without disobeying it if he choose to. he's limited here on earth by our free will.for God to do anything here on earth, he must partner with a man. a willing vessel. will you call that being limited?. Yea,but he has a way of maneuvering that my friend. if there is no willing man on earth to partner with him,he can choose to be born as a man, execute his project without breaking his principles. That's what Jesus did for us.so God is limitlessly powerful |

oglalasioux:it is called genetic as I took my time to explain vividly below How all race came about from Adam and Eve Take a crash course in genetics and find out how we’re all one race. According to the Bible, all people —you, your neighbors, the guy who makes your coffee—came from Adam and Eve ( Acts 17:26 ). The number of humans dwindled to the eight who were spared aboard the giant ship we call Noah’s Ark—when God judged sinful humanity—and then we grew from there (Genesis 6–10). So, how did we end up with so many different skin shades? It’s probably simpler than you think, but it will require some basic genetics . (Don’t worry,I ’ll keep it simple.) Skin shade is governed by multiple genes and is quite complex, but for the sake of simplicity, assume for a moment that there are only two. Genes come in pairs of pairs. During reproduction, half of the genes passed on to the offspring come from each parent. For this discussion, let’s assign the letters “A” and “B” to the genes that code for large amounts of melanin —the brown-colored pigment in everyone’s skin. We’ll also use the letters “a” and “b” to designate the genes for small amounts of melanin. In very dark-skinned people groups, individuals carry AABB genes and only produce dark- skinned offspring. In very light- skinned people groups, individuals carry aabb genes and only produce light-skinned offspring. If a male and female from each group mate and produce a child, the combination of their AABB and aabb genes would give rise to a child who carries the AaBb genes for melanin and would be “middle brown” in skin shade. Now, if two people carrying the AaBb genes got married and reproduced, their children could have a wide rage of skin colors. If Adam and Eve were both middle brown ( AaBb ), they would have produced children with a wide range of tones. Suddenly, all of us being one race doesn’t seem so complicated. Okay, so that explains the different skin tones, but how did different people groups come to be divided as they are now? Again, we can find the answer in the Bible. Doing Short Division In Genesis 11, our ancestors refused to obey God’s command to spread out and fill the earth. Instead, they started building a monument to their insolence—you probably know it as the Tower of Babel . God judged our ancestor’s disobedience by imposing different languages on them by their family groups. This language confusion forced them to scatter over the earth as God intended. Eventually they congregated with others who shared a common language, and instantaneous barriers were set up in the gene pool. Not only would people tend not to marry someone they couldn’t understand, but entire groups that spoke the same language would have difficulty relating to and trusting those they did not understand. These people groups then moved away or were forced away from each other into different parts of the world. The dispersion at Babel broke the large interbreeding group of humanity into smaller groups with less genetic variability. Each group had different mixes of genes for various physical features. All sorts of factors modified the frequency of certain combinations of genes, causing a tendency for specific characteristics to dominate. In other words, kids and grandkids shared the same basic genes their ancestors took with them from Babel Breaking It Down So, what’s the bottom line? The Bible tells us, and genetics confirms that we’re all descendants of Adam and Eve. No matter the color of our skin, we’re one race . . . but this also means we are all sinners, like our first parents, and all in need of the gospel in Jesus Christ |

oglalasioux:Adam and Eve later gave birth to sons and daughters who also gave birth to son's and daughters. God didn't drive Cain away immediately the next day after killing Abel. it was after some couple of years after the killing that God drove him away. read your Bible. the Bible used the phrase "LATER ON" which can mean many years later. by then the other children of Adam(Seth) have multiply and spread all over since the live up to 900 years then. The early chapters of Genesis are concerned with the origin of the Earth and all life, including man. The Author's intention is seemingly to present the grand picture first and then add certain details throughout the rest of Scripture; this is called Progressive Revelation. All we are told about Adam's offspring is that the first son was named Cain, the second son named Abel [Genesis 4:1-2 ], then after Abel's murder, another son named Seth was "begotten when Adam was 130 years old." After that, Adam "begot sons and daughters" [Genesis 5:3-4]. This same passage also tells us that Adam lived for 930 years [Genesis 5:5]. Therefore, according to Scripture, Adam and Eve's family consisted of sons Cain, Abel and Seth, plus a minimum of two other sons and two daughters, giving a total of seven children. However, accepting that Adam, and likely Eve, lived for 930 years, seven children would be the minimum number, but does this seem reasonable? Genesis chapter five presents the genealogies of the descendants of Adam where we are simply given the father's name, his age when he "begot" the first son and the total number of years he lived. With the exception of Enoch, all of these pre-flood descendants of Adam lived a minimum of 777 years, while most were over 900 years. In each instance, the record simply gives the name of the first son, then adds "and begot sons and daughters." With these words, the minimum number of children per family then becomes five. But is this really a credible number? Living over 900 years means living ten times longer than we do today. Proportionately, the female period of fecundity – today 30 to 35 years – would then be about 350 years. At a rate of only one child every seven years, this would result in 50 children for Adam's immediate family. Interestingly, two ancient books written about the time of Christ but not having the authority of inspired Scripture confirm these figures. The Book of Jubilees, whose author is unknown, was written in the second century B.C. and states that Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Paradise seven years [p.49]. Then Eve gave birth to her first child, Cain, between the ages of 64-70, or the same numbers as the age of the Earth, anno mundi. Eve's second child, Abel, was born seven years later – between the years 71-77 anno mundi [p.51]. The total number of Adam's children is not given in this work; however, it is found as a footnote in The Works of Josephus where it states: "The number of Adam's children, as says the old tradition, was 33 sons and 23 daughters." In view of their longevity, these appear to be reasonable figures while it would have to be said that, sinners though they were, Adam and Eve had faithfully obeyed God's first commission to: "be fruitful and multiply …" [Genesis 1:28]. |

Kenneth4u205:Very good research. Thanks for your answer. I still want to know what race Adam and Eve started from. The genetic mutation you explained; could it have happened within the 6 thousand years the bible say the earth is? What are those human like fossils found to have been about 350 million years old? Why do we have birth defects and hereditary diseases? Why didn't our forefathers know how to cure these diseases back then but we know it today? Consider the languages mixed at Babel; my language, Igbo, has over a hundred dialects that some speakers can't understand some. Did it all subdivide at Babel? Nature asks more than the bible can answer. |

Kenneth4u205:Don't shift the goal post in the middle of the game. Seth was born after Cain murdered Abel. The bible said Cain ran away. The story of Seth starts from chapter 5. You said it's progressive revelation. Why is it going back and forth? You have also brought in books that doesn't make up the 66 chapters of the bible. Are you saying the bible is incomplete? If your answer is yes then I can tell you books the bible was copied from. |
