You're watching the complete Bond collection, are you not? Basically, a few of the early Bond films don't age well. The rapey quality of Bond's womanising. The whole yellowface thing, that's when a white person is made to look Asian. It's about the same feeling you get when you rewatch some old cartoons and you realise how very politically incorrect they were.

Maybe the scene with Pussy galore and connery's bond may be classified as rapey.
Bond still remains a smooth womanizing in my mind.

I actually don't know, although I really liked Karl Stromber's underwater lair and the general OTT of the early villains. Actually, I really liked the Brosnan ones, I know I zoned out during that Bond in Asia one & there were times I got really tired of some of the silliness that plagued Roger Moore's era, that I was way too happy when Timothy Dalton's overly serious (& regrettably short) era happened....then I lost my mind with Brosnan. I guess it's because he's the Bond I grew up with & I like the Goldeneye & The World is Not Enough songs too much. Plus, the Brosnan era did give us Wai Lin & her awesomeness.

We're on opposite sides regarding Brosnan. His villains were engaging characters but the plots just seemed a little overdone. My favourite villain was from Skyfall (I've forgotten his name).

Just watched "The Walk", very good movie, so much to learn.

Went on a movie rampage last night:

- Everest: Beautiful. Climbing Mount Everest is no joke oh.
- He Never died: Creepy but captivating, heard the TV series is in the works. The movie is an introduction... sort of.
- The Big Short: Educative and funny. Star studded.
- In The Heart Of The Sea: This movie is something special. Reminded me a bit of the Perfect Storm.

I was going to gut you bow to stern but after a moment, I discovered it's debatable. These two girls were the major ass kickers. And Brosnan's movies didn't have any memorable femme fatales. More of damsels-in-distress actually.

Watching Bad Boys...Will smith is crazy

Saw the big short today,just as good as the source material and easier to understand.
Movies like this, the enron documentary and wolf of wall street can really scare someone away from investing in stocks.

Scorch trials. ( I wonder why peeps said the film was whack.) I enjoyed maze runner and this movie upped the ante. It was far better and more exciting than the first one.

If anybody had told you that the lead actor, Charlie Cox, would become Daredevil, you'd have laughed buckets. Dude, didn't even get top-billing* in this film.

*at least on my Blu-Ray cover & in the posters. Seriously, Paramount didn't want to hire the guy, until the director had hired the big names, then they allowed him to hire the guy.

Of course it's fiction.
But there would be a story,, as a skilled Hunter you should know what a bear's domain would look like. And to evade immediately after sighting it's cub and not pointing a gun at it.

NOOOO!! Its not fiction, it actually happened.. The story is actually based on a 1890 story of the hunter who was abandoned by his colleague after a bear attack in America.

The thing with Star Wars: The Force Awakens is that after the CGI, dialogue & wooden acting mess that was the prequels, the fact that TFA simply didn't suck is enough (even though it's essentially, let's be honest, a reboot of the original Star Wars). Plus, I guess the big brouhaha is that we now have a bonafide female lead in the Star Wars cinematic (Leia is awesome, but it was Luke's story, we will not talk about how Padme turned into whatever she was in the third prequel*). Anywho for me, I just had epic nostalgia flashbacks during my viewing, and thanks to my previous anti-Star Wars stance (George Lucas, I'm looking at you ), I hadn't watched a single trailer, teaser, so everything was a nice reveal.

Scorch trials was odd for me, they were bits I liked, I'll still watch the sequel because I've already watched the first 2 & I'll like to know how it ends. But, I...I can't even describe, I just felt a bit meh afterwards. Plus, the fact the evil corporation is called wicked, just makes me want to slap someone...Every. Time.

*although, it's video game was actually really good.

Honestly I love the stars wars episodes 4 to 6. Then 3 ( rise of vader) maybe 1 . Episode 2 was boooooring.

This new star wars was a reboot of ep4. solo dies, his son is the bad guy like Vader being Luke and Leias father.

Not worth it to me though I have added it to the collection.

Scorch trials was cool. I like the change from Grievers to zombies that run!!. Cool. Enjoyed it.

Pan was colourful but dry. Hook was plain out silly. I think the movie was for kids only.

What I really love is the screenplay and role interpretation. It was something I could totally relate with on an emotional level. And the protagonist is likeable loveable yes homo
The ending had the desired effect on the viewers; you're left wondering how long he will have to keep walking

It's a shame despite tangible ratings on cinema blend and imdb, it ended up a box office bomb
