I was posted to our lady of lauders secondary school(am sure ph based people will know there.) it is within Obia akpor local government area. When I got to the school,I met the principal. He asked me of my discipline and I told him. He said they needed me. I was happy. Next thing he said was that wat was my doctrine (he taught I was Christian) to his surprise I told him boldly that I was Muslim. Next this he said was that we can't accept you here. I asked him was I coming here to teach religious studies? He said I won't be able to practice their religion. He said he didn't have a choice than to reject me. I didn't even bother to argue and I gave him my letter and he signed. I didn't want to put this up before but when some group of corpers said they refused to rent an apartment to them because they are Muslims I was forced to share this. We don't need all this. Together we'll make our country great again.

Reality on ground is that most schools owned by Christians and Moslem organizations are not comfortable with having teaching staff of a different religion.

Our lady of launder sound more like a catholic or missionary school. Will a christian be accepted in an islamic school in kano state? Was not given admission at bayero university in 2008 during the tenure of Attahiru Jega becos am igbo. I passed the exams but did nt see my name in the list, nobody from my state even got that admission in all the departments, and it is a federal institution. My brother it is painful but your pple are doing worst in the north.

Muslims wouldn't allow a christian teach any subject in any muslim school. Religious policy.


About the refusal to let an apartment, id say the landlord reserves the right to his property.

Our Lady of Lourdes, is certainly a Catholic school, so the OP would certainly not fit in. He will not feel comfortable with a Catholic based educational system so they saved him the incontinence.
