@hafsat...am xo surprised now coz u've just stated all d tins am battling wit*but everytin seems to be a lil bit OK now.... my baby is 3weeks today, my breast milk is also not flowing well..& I noticed she was not getting enuf breastmilk @ a week plus..., she was lean too..! had to augment wit formula milk...! she's very OK now...she's taking d BM & formula togeda...! myt stop giving her d formula wen my BM starts flowing well so as to continue wit EBF...!also dealing wit *sore nipples too*..

Hafsat24 I noticed pregnacare breastfeeding helped me and when taking tea or pap put enough milk and Milo in the tea while for the pap put plenty milk. For the weight lemme share my story
Ds was 2.3kg at birth and at 3 days immunization he weighed 2.0kg but when we went for 6 weeks immunization his weight had reached 5.0kg. I will suggest you just concentrate on feeding him for now

If your baby has not learn to latch on to the breast correctly he may not be getting adequate breast me. U don't have to always take gainsay serious. Baby tends to lose weight after bath and they will also recover after a while. It think your baby is in that stage. When you go for next immunisation he would be weighed. Then you can start monitoring his weight. 3 weeks is too early to start complaining about baby not gaining weight.

As per your breast you can try out fenegruk (don't knw if that's correct) read back a page or 2 you will see where it is mentioned. Other experienced mamas will also comment.

Pleasse I have a question for those of you whose LO's have been given immunization @ 14wks, when is your next appiontment? 6months or 9months, cos during antenatal, we were thaught it was 6mnths before 9months, but today after my DD 14wks, the next appiontment thEy gave us was for 9months at the health center. I asked them if it was a mistake but they said it was the right thing, cos no immunization @ 6months as I was told at d private hospital where I put to bed.

Same tin hapened 2 my ds, sm1 advised I took him 2 d hosp dat it might b infection, I took him 2 c a doc n was prescribed Som drugs Wich I gave him n am stil gvin him. His poo is normal now. So try go n c a doc.

Hello mothers, it's been awhile. Hw r our babies doing? Una Weldone o. Mothers arnd karu/jikwoyi axis(Abuja), pls where can I find a good Pediatrician? Pls help. And I need urgent help on this too, pls; my baby is 3 months old, right now he's wiggling n writhing like he's in serious pain even as he's sucking. It almost gets me in tears whenever it starts like dat n we don't av a pediatrician yet. It's been going on for sm days now n I didn't change anything in his normal routine; he's on breastmilk solely but I give him a bottle of formula at nite. Pls help me I, what do I do? It's urgent. Good day mama's, my 2 months old baby pcv is 28% should I be worried? Doc said it's low and I should administer folic acid once daily for 2 weeks to lo. I was on ebf but I want to start giving lo water cos of the drugs we were given, I feel he needs water since he is taking too many drugs. What do you think

Try increasing your own fluid intake too. Good old pap and water plus a balanced diet helps stimulate breast milk. Also try not to be anxious or stressed. Because anxiety reduces breast milk flow....

Mamas, is it okay to give water to my baby of going to 3months old dat is on ebf, cuz MIL is really pressurizing to do so. She's like we give babies water and glucose in our days and I'm like* yinmu* in your own days, you're almost 60!

Pele dear..I understand! my mum left two days ago, bathed her yday wit hubby, my dear u nid to see d way we were struggling to bath her* her bones are so strong & she's very tall or long"..am a lil bit relieved coz sis inlaw is arnd!" pls try & get someone to assist u dear...is not just easy...in all my baby can eat for Africa too..!! always crying 4 more..!! but am happy she's eating well sha..
