Everybody shouts "ONE NIGERIA" but what is being seen is something but One Nigeria Early last Wednesday, Oshodi made the news again, with a bulldozer at work. On orders of governor Akinwunmi Ambode, it rumbled through the Owonifari market,Oshodi, Lagos, crushed and flattened everything on sight within the market. But cries of traders at the market, roared louder than the bulldozer which pulled down the market. “I am finished, I just arrived from China with over N20million goods, they have crushed everything. Where will I start from?” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/01/govt-doesnt-want-igbo-traders-in-lagos/ |

Good government and I'll say it again good government. I can't believe that the igbo man is too wise to behave like the hausa man who brings money invests and start transfering the yields back home asap...in that case whatever thats left can be forfeited if conditions become unfavourable. Once an igbo man sees an oil well, he will just build his entire life, family, whatever he has and will have in that location not taking into consideration that conditions may arise that will make him run to the home of his ancestors which he left in a bad state...and don't even know what to say |

Another opportunity for them to claim the victim title. Why are they the only ones always making a living in a chaotic environment. 5 Likes |

Yawn. Oshodi market is at most 20% igbo. Next time when government t issues you quit notice, you don't assume. It's high time people start returning to their states. I am a Lagosian, and we indigenous Lagosians are tired of the burden on our state. We want our quality of life back. Ambode please reintroduce school fees, free education is enabling this mass migration. Free education should be for indegenes only, let FG institute its own free education in federal schools. Let everyone go and ask their governors to be accountable. Lagos cannot feed the whole Nigeria. When government will refuse to increase our allocation for that matter. Maybe we should start registering all non indigenes and billing their governments for our burden. I don't even care from where, but every mosquito should stop running from their state and leaving Lagos to bear the burden. Even the state governors refuse to stay in their state. They all have their permanent base in Lagos. Nonsense 5 Likes |

fhunn:thats because most igbos think they have sense even more than sense itself, I pray trends like dz continue. When Genevieve went to build a house in Abuja and a fan was complaining about her not developing her land, they said its her money she shud do what deems fit to her, but if the story is true, we cant fight u, we wont retaliate if we had d chance, but just know that someone up above is watching from a distance. |
