Please tech gurus, my hot 2 suddenly stopped displaying my pictures and whenever I want to access the camera it asks me to insert SD card and I have over 6gb of space on the internal memory.
Likewise, the music player keeps saying 'can't play music' and when I created another user it works fine Buh can't access my installed apps.
I've tried goggling the problem but I only saw similar complaints and no solution was given. Please guys if anyone had faced similar problem and solved it, kindly help a brother or if the problem has been addressed before kindly refer me to the page on the thread. Thanks again. 07038943234.

Go to settings, Users, guest mode, at the rear right corner, click on the three vertical dots, delete guest mode, reboot phone, that's all.

Some apps won't start on Marshmallow even after updating Google play services, apps like - Psiphon, Facebook (got deleted after update, had to download a new one), File Manager (though after upgrading you get a new built in file manager) and others. Who else noticed this?

Pls I've tried the key combos to get into recovery but have not been successful. It brings up three option

-recovery mode
-normal mode
-fast booth

Press vol - to select, but when I select recovery mode, it shows the dead andro robot with caption 'no comand'.

Pls assist.

please help us that have not ported to confirm if the Marshmallow supports USB OTG functionality, so we don't waste time porting to Infinix Lollipop ROM.

u downloaded the wrong xposed framework. What u need is xposed v7something sdk 22 arm.zip the one u have is for 64bit devices .hot 2 is a 32 bit phone. Flash with Twrp rashr flashes only images not zips

Still sifting my way round it though, you're advice to do some proper back up before upgrading to 6.0, na me come be scape goat since am still not able to locate all my files worth 9Gb on internal storage. On start you'd be prompted to format your external memory as internal memory, thereby converting your external mc to internal, which wouldn't work on any device whatsoever. More so, it deleted some pre installed apps, after downloading Facebook app from play store, it refuses to start, guess some apps ain't compatible on marshmallow yet including Psiphon like how am I gonna surf the net now? Anyone with a way out on how to retrieve files from internal storage should please help out as I can't afford to loose my important files.

download mini tool power data recovery. since android reformatted your storage, when you open the software, select partition recovery and next time ,don't choose adaptable storage over portable storage unless you know what you're doing
