their temperaments varies due to crossbreeding. most of these dogs are bred specifically for their physical features, muscular formation,thick bone structure, head sizes thereby undermining the real deal i.e their temperament. In some cases, these dogs exhibits questionable behaviors thats not associated with rotts,they can be unpredictable when it comes to approach that goes beyond kennel club standards. When it comes to well bred rottweilers, i seek for German bloodlines. Germans are known to keep the breed standard at maximum, maybe its because its their product.
In Germany, the ADRK, which is the Rottweiler club of Germany, has very strict rules and guidelines when it comes to breeding Rotties. Only the best are allowed to breed and these are those that adhere to the standard.
For the Serbian counterpart, theirs no such thing as Serbian rottweilers; its simply a rottweiler that was born in Serbia just like we have the Roman/America rottweiler. Indiscriminate breeders have been cooking up those names in hopes of making some extra cash by scamming those with little knowledge of the breed. i can wake one day and decide to call mine "Afikpo rottweiler" who go arrest me? thats just it. hope u get the idea
