That is the problem isn't it? Our culture frowns on it so it is always swept under the carpet and never talked about.

It doesn't mean it doesn't happen because it does a lot in Nigeria, it's just never dealt with properly e.g. Obasanjo was accused of sleeping with his son's wife wasn't he? Haven't we seem it on nairaland to many people as well? We have a culture that pretends to be holier than thou by pretending such things do not happen and just sweeps them under the carpet.

I would rather a culture where you can speak about issues and get good advice from open minded people rather than one where you just have to shut up and keep quiet to satisfy culture and be suffering inside or ge insulted by people who are pretending to be holy but are so corrupt ad sinful when they think no one is watching. How many marriages do we have in Nigeria where the wives are so unhappy but cannot talk or do any thing simply not to lose face for culture?
