The Argentine beat rivals Neymar (Barcelona/Brazil)and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid/Portugal) to clinch a record 5th Ballon D'or award. The award was voted by all National team coaches and approved Journalists. Congrats to him!

Unless FIFA decides to act like PDP, that award undoubtedly belongs to Ijaya himself aka Lionel messi..

CR7 deserves the award.....it is an individual award not team award......trophies are meant for team.....suarez and neymar contributed the same percentage messi contributed in winning those five trophies ....Madrid would have won them if Benzema and Bale also contributed the way CR7 did..... I didn't bother to watch cos I know they will give it to the midget.
Messi is the best no doubt but almost everything was done by the Barca team.

iyawo ronaldo sorry. Ronaldo deserve the award by scoring against, malmo, rayo valecanno and all those stupid team. he could not score against athletico, juventus, barcelona, psg, valencia when it mattered most for his team to win. when messi killed a whole bayern munich and won 5 trophies. You can try next year, meanwhile Ronaldo, and madrid has gone down this season.
