Your responses were quite honest, spontaneous and funny to say the least. You are open-minded and would make a great team player, these qualities are what employers always sought after. I believe you would do well in the next stage of the recruitment process, wouldn't wish you luck because you already have it. God's speed bruv. |

AltarBoy1:Pls OP, Next time don't say that again. you nearly lost your chance if not for your smartness that made you recover quickly. You should rather say " i graduated with 2.2 because it was a competitive academic environment, and graduating with 2.2 which is the 3rd grade out of the 6 grades (viz: 1st class, 2.1, 2.2, 3rd class, pass, and fail) places me on a fair advantage and also confirms me as a good graduate. Also, grades have never been the sole or best measure of intelligence as there are proved cases of test item discrimination and guessing parameters affecting performance in test. I believe this explains my success in the recruitment test" |

AltarBoy1:I felt excited seeing someone who shares same opinion on career with me. Coincidentally, I'm a graduated of chemical engineering and finished with 2.2. Thanks Op for sharing these, aside what I've learnt, this piece has helped heightened my hope. Wishing you success on the remaining steps of the recruitment process. |

AyoolaIgwe:In Nigeria politics is a big career. A career that doesn't care about your discipline but you ruggedness and money. |

AltarBoy1:The bold discourse got me cracked up, but made a whole of lot an insight to your person. You are an intelligent dude. This is how an interview should be. You are funny and at the same time sincere, confident and savvy. An HR Mgr who needs people with attitude for success to hire, would never hesitate to consider you. You have attitude. |

foriz4u:Amen bro, God will surely do it for you. I know how banking job is in Nigeria. But the rate of unemployment leaves one with no choice than to go for it. I have a plan B in place already. Just hoping to raise capital to finance it. |

wucheiyconsult:Well, I do not know what to tell you cos am not an expert. But I think there is no better way of preparing for an interview than research about the company, about the sector of the company and knowing yourself fully well. Note: Don't cram too much, just be yourself. Read thread from the likes of rationalmind and his clicks. I have been their silent followers. |
| Re: My Interview Experience With A Banking Firm by SarahD(f): 2:15pm On Jan 12, 2016 |
foriz4u: AltarBoy1:It is called grace. God had already graced you to perform well that very day. I am very certain that in some circumstances, you may not have been able to perform the way you did. Please do not take this as smartness or luck, consider it that God was behind it all and give Him glory so that He will do more. |
