Hi everybody, i'm a TEEP alumni.
You need to convince them that ur business has great prospects, will generate revenue, provide employment, add to the economy, decrease importations, improve customer satisfactions etc
You need to show them that your business will solve some economic or social problems, disrupt business value chains, and has great competitative advantages.
Try and show them that there is a gap you are coming to fill, tell them that you have not been happy with the current status quo in the market and that is why you are coming with your business idea to create better solutions,You need to prove that you ve got some experiences and qualities that will project the business to a greater height, show them that you have big dreams; think globally. Finally when writing the amount you needed for the business, make sure the amount you burgeted for things like rent, salary, equipments and others fall within the total amount of capital you require for the business, that will show them you know what you are doing.
Cheers

Lovely piece, thanks for sharing. Meanwhile what is your line of business?
Was your business existing before winning the competition?

Hi Viewers,
I am an aspirant of TEEF, I know a couple of people are aspiring to become one of the privileged alumni of Tony Elumelu seed fund to kick start their businesses.
It is on this note that I want to call on all nairalanders who has been opportuned to have won the challenge before, to please contribute to success of new aspirant of TEEF 2016.
However, all aspirant can converge here to discuss the way forward, and to talk about how we can help ourselves to actualise our dreams by leveraging on this golden opportunity.
If we didn't help ourselves, other smaller African countries will sweep the chances away. It has happened before, let wake up Nigerians, we've seen it happen during last FALA ( Future African Leaders Award).

Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme 2016 application has opened today. http:/tonyelumelufoundation.org/teep/ see you at the top.

To all those who are interested in TEEF, please note that you will be required to have a duly registered company or business enterprise amongst others. We register company/business outfit at a very cheap rate. Also,to contribute our own quota in promoting micro and small businesses, we offer Do It yourself (DIY) registration. By this, we guide and direct you on how to register your company/business name yourself for a token. This is more cost effective and as efficient (provided you comply strictly as guided, advised or directed) as engaging our services. For more information contact us on 08053442295 (whatsapp)
