For such specific questions, I suggest you get to a study center. The info we have is that apart from having the basic matric requirements, the hcandidate must have,at least, BSc - second class upper - in any related course to qualify. This "related course" is not defined online. But I am sure peeps here who are in your department should know the accepted courses. Let's hope they answer. I am a science student

After each semester, everyone moves to the immediate next semester. After your first semester, you move on to the second semester. That same period will be the first semester of those that will be admitted at that time. By the time they are moving on to their second semester, you will be going for your third. So at every point in time, they are people doing first semester and others doing second semester. It all depends on which batch you started with.

As for the payment, like I have said it severally here, how much you pay for any semester is BaseFee+ExamFee+CourseReg. Most times, the base fee is either 40k or 41k. The remaining part of the payment depends on how many courses you taking in a semester. Third semester is omitted here cause, officially, it does not exist. The maximum credit load for the first semesters is designed to accommodate all your courses including project. Spreading them across three semesters (i.e going for a third semester) is a matter of convenience.

i think you can do it because i also had hnd in microbiology and applied for pgd in education and was just given admission.

I didn't know that u have to do at least 20 units before you can be registered for project. I did 17 in first semester dropping an elective unwillingly.
I have done my proposal but they refuse to accept it. Now I must do third semester I think.

If you aee sure that you qualify for the course , relogin to your application form portal and check what you filled. Probably you made an error somewhere while filling. After correcting it submit your form again. It will surly accept you. That is what i did.
When i was filling my form i chose computer/education instead of just computer and the system denied me. I corrected it and i got admitted. So just try that and give me the feedback.

Yes go the noun site and sign up. The system will generate some numbers for you then go to the bank and pay for it.
Or better still try to read previous post will get straight answer to you question.

Bro, I said it many times here that you don't drop a course cause it's called elective. You can only drop an elective course when you've met up with the minimum credit limit for the semester.

Anyway, they'd only refuse to accept it if the maximum credit limit for the second semester cannot accommodate both project and the dropped course.

Well, that's the new payment method....

It's actually very simple.

All you need to sign up for the form are -

1. Generate RRR Code from NOUN Portal,
2. Take the code to pay at Any commercial bank. 3. Then come back and login using the Username AND Password created while generating the RRR Code.

NOTE While generating the code , it is very important to write down the username and password use during the process, this will enable you to login while filling the form.

Yes is true you said it but it was late for me when I saw it. To add it and start preparing for it for exam with work and other factors may not be easy. Though I later register the course for registration last semester I will just register it for exam this semester

Bornsad please i need your advice on how to read all these voluminous books. Is it that i must read cover to cover to pass the courses? What was the strategy you use in reading all these books? I just finished studying CIT 751:Advanced Systems Analysis and Design. It was interesting cos i could still remember somethings i read from the course during my first degree.
Also when can i start my assessment test?

O boy! If you are lazy to study i beg no do master for noun especially info tech. The tin no be beans and rice oooo especially for ppl working at the same time. But it is not him will and run it is God that show mercy but you must be prepare to study hard.

Anybody here who has graduted from noun pgd info tech? I need an idea of how to choose a project topic and also wil i be designing something like i did during my hnd days? Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks

That is not the problem. I have registered all the courses including project online. When I went to submit my 3 project topics for approval at the center, they rejected it that I must do exam on 20 units courses before I can get a surpervisor.
