Pls house help me. I am a novice driver and just got a 2006 honda accord. the problem started three weeks ago. it whistles contantly at low or higher speed and the whistling sound comes from the driver side. also when I apply brakes I hear a grinding sound from the rear passenger wheel. what could be wrong?

Take it to a football pitch my brother. And don't forget to put a yellow and a red cards in the dashboard. It will make a good officiating.

Change ur brake pads and have mechanic check ur other suspension components

The grinding at the back wheel shld be ur brakes

The whistling cld be the bad bearing or worn pads

Question is,is the whistling like referee's own,or its like maiguard's own?

U are very right, experienced same with my 2016 lexus lX470. Twas like the whistle of a maiguard.

Get your mechanic to check your hub bearings and brake pads.

@whistling, it actually whistles like you would with your mouth.

I intend to see mech at the weekend. colleague at work said it could be shocks as I bought it used. another said the grinding at the back could be maybe bushings.

Rear grinding noise is either worn brake pads rubbing on the disc or brake lining wear and tear!!!
The whistling, is probably an inbuilt mechanism indicating wear of a certain part!!!

Maybe its your brake wear indicator
