I wonder why Sanusi did not 'preach' during the last administration when his people were making life difficult for everybody neither did he say anything about the youth corps that were killed in cold blood.

That's an easy thing for someone who's people are yet to be massacred to say. Whenever you have 50,000 of your people massacred, which causes you to secede, and you go on to lose millions more in a civil war, then you can come back let's talk about 'one Nigeria' and 'moving on'

It will be a huge disappointment if he mentioned names. Every leader must carry along with his /her office some level of responsibility. There's a way you speak and hit the nail on its head without mentioning names. It's called diplomacy which every good leader must posses. Mentioning names would have painted Sanusi a tribal bigot, immature and insensitive leader. In fact would have heated the polity... But he made his point without mentioning names.
Learn from that, you'll need it in the future.

Moral values...hahaha....I wonder what will have happened if someone had held up an 8 by 8 placard with the pic of him and the lady in red doing the do in reply.

Anyway he is right. Nigerians are that dull and dense upstairs, learning nothing so condemned to the dregs of history. This is perhaps the only country that has gone through a civil war and learnt absolutely nothing. A nation that cannot provide justice, equity and prosperity 50 years on is nothing but a tragedy. We deserve everything we get and everything coming. Continue.

Well i watched this their conference and the emir was even mild. Elrufai was shocking. He said they will not stand to have their history rewritten on the internet and by journalists about the events of 1966. And for all northerners to stand up and against the denigration of the graves of their forefathers. Or sthn along those lines.

Was he even born then? I was just shocked by his facial expresssions. He sounded angry. undecided

When these pple are finally ready to kill themselves a second time, can we just figure out how to annex ourselves from this country.

The owners audacity of northern elite is infuriating. Who is Sanusi warning about the consequences of disrespecting a people whose value for other people's right is non existent. What could be more disrepecting than people bigots like you questioning the electoral decision of over 30 million people. Deriding their so called political naivity and openly insulting their very tragic history. The people threatening the unity of your father's grazing field,Nigeria, is not the youth peacefully protesting for the release of their leader. No they are the people who stored litres of fuel, bought more matchete and gun ready to kill a particular tribe if they did not have their way. Every body know the region with highest case of violence in this country,so why are guys promoting this issue of violence by a peaceful tribe. You all are looking for a justification for a repeat of the 1966 genocide, start it already!!!!!
