Stephen Keshi’s wife, Kate Keshi who died on the 9th of December, 2015 of cancer at a United States hospital, was today laid to rest today in the presence of her husband, four children, family members and her husband’s colleagues. Kate’s body which was brought in from the United States was laid to rest today in Benin as people cried uncontrollably. It was also said that her husband went so emotional with tears rolling down his eyes as she was put down in her grave. Among the dignitaries at the burial ceremony were chairman of Edo State Football Association, Frank Ilaboya, the technical director of the NFF, Shaibu Amodu, ex-Super Eagles coach, Austin Eguavoen, former assistant coach to Keshi, Daniel Amokachi and top government officials. She was buried at her husband’s house in Benin City. See photos above
