Hi pals, pls is it appropriate to laminate a degree certificate expecially if u have the intention of furthering your studies abroad (Msc)? I heard it is always a problem with authentication at the embassy in this process of getting a VISA.

I seriously need advice expecially from people who are studying abroad for postgraduate or have gone through this procedure before as i am presently processing for my postgraduate abroad but my degree certificate i obtained about 2 years ago is getting ROUGH. Thanks

Your claims are correct. To protect your degree certificate from ruffling further, you need not seal the certificate completely when laminating. There's a way it's done such that you can take off the certificate when needed. Discuss with those into stationeries. They'll put you through.

I entered Nysc orientation camp on a rainy day. Imagine what would have happened if not 4 that precaution.
The day I finally went to federal ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs for authentication, a razor was used to cut out a little of the cellophane at the back for the stamp
