finished my homestudy and plum test test to 100% on tuesday only to recieve two mails this morning that i ve not completed my homesstudy test .the second a regret mail because i didnt complete the home study test . have complain to them via apply@andela.com only to get an auto reply from a machine. please house who get the main contact email of andela ?

its not a regret mail. d regret mail was different. chk d previous page for a sample. btwwhat I meant by 2 curriculums is that there were two tests when you log in to proctor. they are the same thing but u HV to take them seperately if you want to complete it.

People got different number of tests @faith2ogesco, @rockok. I got 2, I know friends who got 1,3 and someone even mentioned he got 7 here today. In the instructions, we were asked to take all the Homestudy tests. Therefore, people who did all aren't guilty of anything.

I mailed them on that issue and I was told to take JUST one and I still got a regret mail. Everybody I know got that mail. Guess we would have to wait for the criteria they used in sending out the mails because I finished the test more than a week ago.

did d dude say he got 7 or finished on d 7th. I didn't take any chances o. I did all of them cos I know all these automated response can misbehave.

The messages are automated, just as you previously received one reminding you to complete home-study before deadline. My friend got two home study tests but completed just one of them and received the 100% trophy, I got just one and finished it too on the 14th of January(Note that I choose to write mine a day to deadline to actually go through the material thoroughly) with a trophy also displaying on completion. This is a software error at most, just shows us how serious one error can be during software development. Some have already given up hope, some are in tears and the most would be very angry and perturbed because of the amount of time put into studying and taking the test. Don't give up hope, I think with or without Andela, those of us who truly completed the study and took the test without aid would have realized how far they've come and how far they can go with Software Engineering. Continue studying. I personally was alarmed when I got the second mail by 10:52 am this morning, the first mail was okay, the second mail simply made invalid all my attempts at trying to become an Andela fellow, it was a blow below the belt, but I reasoned my way out of it. I've since sent them two mails via the mail addresses "apply@andela.com" and "apply@andela.co". I have also submitted a complaint via their survey forms. If you must send them a mail, ensure that you are polite and articulate because they owe you nothing and have simply kick started your success in a career of Software Engineering. I suggest we all keep studying and keep our fingers crossed. I hope this helps someone. To our success, Wannabe Andelans!

Let no software error get our dreams shattered.

After so many reviews of posts an comments, I studied the whole processes and conclude thus:

We are expected to
Your device can generate more sessions due to the probs of loading, or logins
Each session with a unique id, Mouse over each session to view the url which consists of the id.
Each session has the same curriculum test.

The first mail could have been sent to all sessions either completed or not
The second mail could have been sent to all incomplete sessions.

In which an email can have multiple sessions.

So if we would reason with me.

I think we should wait for completed sessions mail and results.
Each completed session should have a result.

Even if you have gotten a regret email for failed sessions.

Since no result or congratulatory message has been sent to anyone.

Each completed session will as well get its result.

Though i have mailed them. You should do too.

Lets calm down and believe with me its a software error.

If you support my opinion Lets like this mail to keep peace abreast and avoid people getting hypertension over andela.

Dude, I understand your annoyance but slow down. What is your motive, what is your focus? Before I was introduced to andela less than four months ago my job title was creative designer and what I do everyday was to provide design solutions for the web, (e.g web banners, slides). Now I am a working as a web developer. Andela put me on the road, and with or without andela, I am focus on a destination. I stopped the the current andela race November last year, and I decided to apply for the next batch because I had so much works on my hand. I will apply for the April batch this year. So my brother don't quit, just be focused, when the time is right, everything will be easy.
