Bollinger:you are right bro..... We have had a poor situation management strategy in this country..... Worst still when the ruling ethnic groups believe that the 5% don't have a right to insist on what they want for themselves....... The dissatisfaction will only get bigger and angrier tending towards violence. |

the one you find in Lagos is called second edition, while first edition is the first edition to be published and distributed to other geopolitical zones. you can't print both at once with the same title. Southwestern edition or 'second edition' is often delayed till 4 a.m., to accommodate eventualities such as breaking news or so. |

I see no reason for this thread. It's well known that Sun newspaper has Western and Eastern printing factories hence the slight difference on headlines but same news. |

dom:Thanks, first edition is a cover page and some pages of advertorials, printed day before, around 8pm. So, tomorrow newspaper for kano has already been printed now. By 12, the insertion will be printed. This are inserted in the middle of the cover pages. The process of inserting inner into cover page is called collation. Then second edition will be printed between 1 -3, a different cover page but with the same inner with what will be circulated in kano. once it's 1 a.m., first edition leaves for the airport or is loaded into trucks that takes it to distance places. The remaining inner are inserted into the second edition, which is meant to be distributed at short distance. Thus, we read the same inner insertions, but different cover story most of the times. |
