Who Else Experience The GLO Epileptic Data Signal! by ewizard1: 9:12pm On Jan 16, 2016
Glo has been worst these days... My data signal would just go off and i'll have to wait for it to restore itself. it goes off in like every 10/15 seconds.

I think NCC should look in their matter ooo. They need to pay like 3 trillion sef. What sort of rubbish is this nah?

Giving much data that frustrates users. I think i have to get back to my Etisalat 1GB jeje!

I use to experience the same issue back in 2014. I've since dumped their st*pid sim card fof close to 2 years now. I thought they might have improved. 'MTN and etisalat are still the best for data.

No wonder they are struggling with airtel market shares. imagine Airtel showed the strongest growth in Q3, of 5.3 percent to 31.1 million. Glo was still slightly larger, at 31.3 million customers in September 2015. that means glo is topping by 200,000 subscribers compare to before when it was 5m different. Glo doesn't know that affordability without availability is stupidity.

Happened to me too. I have to restart or turn on airplane mode to get the signal up for a while. 4.5gb wasted. Glo should be number 1, but they're asleep. cry #GloWakeUp

I'm using Glo right now, blazing with the speed of light in Ogba. One thing you guys fail to recognize is that Glo has 3 internet settings, you have to stick to the one that works best in your area (Gloflat,Glogwap and Glosecure).Mtn and Airtel both have only one internet settings

Ahh. I thought it was only me. Glo was great in sch, then I went home for break. It became seriously terrible; could only get one bar of network at best for calls and internet browsing was totally out of it. I ported o .

Later, some will tell us to patronize home made goods.

Glo is such a annoying and substandard ISP.
The plans are cheap, but you also regret subscribing to them minutes after subscription.

I bet if they were sensible enough to offer quality internet service, they'd have seen stunning growth.

You can hate on MTN as you wish, but despite their having the largest market share in Nigeria, just a Bar of their 3G signal strength is faster than anything Glo has to offer in your average location in Nigeria.
Even Airtel 3G has picked up again, save for their 419-esque data deduction.

it can be frustrating at times but i think it depends on the area, here in ibadan it can get damn slow but in their office in challenge its somehow fast but not as fast as ikorodu, agric side to be precise its over fast in that region i was told glo has like 3 of the 3g mast there or so...i downloaded a 200mb file in 5minutes

Glo is the worst Network when it comes to data and even voice calls. I call it Willy Willy network, it appears and disappears at will. I experience more of "searching for signal" than the actual signal being available, it that terrible in my area, and this has been on for close to three months, even after complaining. It is terrible.
