Yea, going to church/mosque may improve one's relationship with God or it may not. It depends.

Take for instance today. I kept staring at the gorgeous lady that was sitting beside me, I was having weird thoughts .... Meanwhile, someone sitting four pews away from me was engrossed with the clergy's sermon, probably being convinced.

So going to church doesn't necessarily improve ones relationship with God. I think one's intention of going plays a huge role. You think same?

I don't go cause I feel like I'm pressured into have a certain type of relationship with God that doesn't suit me. We're all created different and in the big scheme of things maybe the morals in religious scriptures are plausible. But when it comes to the nitty gritty of things and how I want to live my life I just want to be who I am completely.

I'm not going to be fake or act a certain way to please anyone. Especially God. God is going to have to like me in my good and not so good times. I don't want to have to pretend that I'm this person I don't want to be to follow Gods rules. In my eyes, God doesn't really love me in that scenario because the person he "loves" is just his ideal... And that's not really love.

I don't know it sounds stupid.

I as a christian was made to believe in a supreme being. As I grew up, I still followed that path not because of what I was taught as a kid But because everything that happens is centered on that supreme being. I believed not because I was compelled to. I believed not because I'm "trying to appear pleasing". I believed not because I "want God to like me". I believed because that was the right thing to do. I believed because I have every solid reason to.

God is "all-knowing" so you don't have to be fake to please Him. He loves you in your good & not so good times. He loves unconditionally. Or you don't know?

Of course there is "Free will" & you can choose to be what you want to be But free will is the problem here. Without free will, certain things we see happening would never have happened.

PS: I know I kinda deviated, I apologize.

You want to go to heaven, Gods abode which is free from blemish and any impure things and you think such profanities can happen there?
What are you referring to free will sef The idea of you saying free will is like I own my soul and I should be able to do what I want with it to the best of your knowledge (which is very limited compared to God).

So in the case of the afforementioned, You may chose to kiss me OR you may chose to "die" BUT the choice was yours, not mine.
