It is most is unreasonable for any one to tag this protest 'Igbo' These protesters do not represent Nd'Igbo and their actions do not in anyway represent the aspirations of the Igbo nation. |

searchiing4love:Wasn't it people like you who said 'Kanu is coward for not coming back to fight for his cause' 'he is enjoying himself in London' 'He dare not step foot in Nigeria'. What happened? He fearlessly came back to face his detractors. The man has always said that he would gladly lay down his life for what he believes in, you think it's that kind of person that can be scared with detention and torture? You said Ojukwu led his people into a bloody conflict. How did he do this? Who came down to the east to start a shooting game of war? You said Kanu spread hate? The hate has always been there long before Kanu was born. You said he instigated war? Is there any war? Boko Haram, Fulani cow hearders and Niger Delta militants are doing much more to instigate war and you are worried about someone talking on a radio station. Kanu solicited for arms on a recorded event? Yes he did and he did so in country were it is legal to do so. Anerican residents are legally empowered to own firearms, but that is not the important issue. The real issue is did he get arms and did he fight? The constitution does not recognise soliciting for arms as a crime. Just the same way you believe in 'one Nigeria' is the same way anybody has the right not to believe in it. Grow up man |

This actually happened on Friday 15th January and a new one is allegedly planned for this morning. The Rivers state Government has issued stern warning to the IPOB to stay clear of Rivers today or face the full weight of the NPF and other security agents!. |
| Re: Biafra Protesters Attack Rivers Residents by kingzizzy: 9:52am On Jan 18, 2016 |
searchiing4love:Well the trap is obviously working because Kanu's detention was a big reason Buhari came on national tv to discredit himself in the eyes of not only Nigerians but the international community by supporting the flouting of court others. I think Kanu would gladly gone to kirikiri for this alone |

Going by his unkempt and frustrated looks in court recently, am sure he wish he could turn back the hands of time but its too late. He enjoyed the fraudulent fame while it lasted. He wanted to be a rebel leader. A rebel leader with no military background. Which sane rebel leader will go as far as soliciting for weapons on a recorded event? His mistakes are enormous and there are better ways he could have fought his battles without spreading hate and implicating himself. Kanu is just a buttie boy overfed with the comfort of london and that pushed him to run his mouth like a tap on biafra radio. He looked like a chicken in the rain in court and was even described as standing in court without uttering a word. Am sure the Dss treatment is gradually restoring his brain to factory settings. Before the previous Biafra war, Ojukwu had a template of what biafra would look like and even presented his demands through the aburi accord in Ghana. He had military experience and a PlanB if the aburi accord was rejected. Despite this, Ojukwu regretted leading his people to a bloody massacre and has since called for a United Nigeria. Kanu's approach was to brainwash innocent youths, spread hate and bile and even instigate war on other non igbo tribes. No concrete reason why they want Biafra other than the Yorubas and Hausas hate us so we have to go. Comparing Kanu to Ojukwu is an insult in all ramifications. Kanu's predicament will never end soon. He will pay for all those hate speeches and instigating wars against peaceful Nigerians. Where are the bombs he threatened to use on Radio biafra? Where are the jet fighters? Where are Ipob soldiers he promised to unleash on the zoo? Pride goes before a fall. Kanu has fallen and all the igbo youths can do is protest. with time everyone will forget him in jail and move on with their lives. I hope uchemefor is learning from this before he finds himself in the same fate.
why is he still languishing in jail?
