So, to an unbiased observer, what evidence can one provide to show that Igbos actually carried out the coup in order to exterminate other tribes and take over the country? It is very easy to sell falshood, but it is very difficult to provide facts to buttress your claims.

It is now clear even to a suckling, that the imperialist genocidists crammed up this murderous lies against the Igbos to find reasons to perpetually keep them under hate. The coup was partly to overthrow the govt of that time; but was also meant to release Chief Obafemi Awolowo and handover power to him.
How then could it be termed Igbo coup.

Same coup was also foiled by two Igbos; Gen Ironsi and Lt. Col Odumegwu Ojukwu.
The participants were hailed until some hateful and blood-thirsty elements masterminded the rumour that it was an Igbo coup even when every body in the military termed the participants as heroes of Nigerian destiny and therfore should be rewarded for such courageous interruption and intervention outplay.
