Jokes aside, I don't see why not. It wouldn't look grand but its a wedding nonetheless. Also keep in mind how flashy a wedding is does not guarantee the marriage would last. If your budget is more money than you receive on a regular basis then I'd recommend throwing a modest wedding and spending more maintaining your new family. Those people you impressed during your wedding would not give you the time of the day when you complain of financial woes in future.

You did not state if it's white or traditional wedn.but that amt can handle any of the both perfectly if u cut ur coat according to ur size.the most important advice I will give u is to plan the wedn based on close people not exceeding 60 guests especially if its white wedding, make a plan with an eatery outlets for the reception,based on space for 60guests and they will also provide their foods on discounted rate,while also providing their space for ur use either free or token amt for their diesel,u will now provide drinks,and DJ to spice up the gathering, definitely u will have a lot of change from the 500k if u follow my plan,that's the new trends now,saving money,stress free,and above all u have done ur wedn and invited guest are well refreshed with rich meal.

You can cut cost on hall by using an open field, but there's stress of canopies/chairs/tables etc.

I've organised a lot of programs in Benin and can confidently confirm it. A good hall of like 200 people with facilities should be about 30k-40k. You can use Uniben's Banquet Hall for about 20k. Feeding and drinks 100k-120k. Decorations with flowers and all 20k you can use students which will be cheaper just look for whoever is decorating for RCF or NSCF. Music and DJ can be 30-40k including a live band(talk to RCF choirif you use Banquet). Get Nice well tailored suits at Forrestry Road, Benin 15-20k each, they have some of the best tailors in Nigeria there. If you need any help contact me and I will link you up with guys over there. We do not sell our daughters out in marriage. We only give out their hands in marriage and wish them marital bliss. The moment you are told the bride price you will be amazed. The bride price might just be less than half the price of a moccasin shoe at mandilas. i. e an amount very affordable and in most cases kids around during the ceremony are given the money to buy sweets and biscuits.

Why go thru stress of spending much when you can do you wedding at a registry?
Traditional marriage is the main thing,then go to registry with both families and few friends.
