I beg to differ! Davido does music the way he knows how to.. Nicki Minaj and Adele don't have to do the same kind of music but they are respected and have their own respective fans! Davido has his fans and they are in millions! He is a musical genius to these millions especially in Africa.. It's entertainment man, you do what works for you!

Maybe he could have handled it better.. I kinda prefer that he blew the whistle! I for one would never wann go to this club no matter how much money I make or i'm willing to spend. Coz now I get the impression that they discriminate, I don't handle discrimination real good

We don't actually have all the details of what happened, we only have Davido's side of the story. Could have been discrimination, or maybe his attitude, what he did & how they saw it, who knows?

Now back to Davido, despite having the highest population of entertainment loving blacks in the world, why do you think Nigerian acts (musicians and actors) don't get as much respect and recognition in the world over? I mean you hear this American and European artists plan world tours and visit places like Angola, Ethiopia and even Erithrea but ignore Nigeria with the highest possibility of making the most income in Africa?!

R.kelly and wizkid made a song on r.kelly's last album. I'v heard radio stations play shittier songs on the album but not the one with wizzy on it! Are some people scared of the potentials of allowing Nigerian acts get into international mainstream media and recognition? Your guess is as good as mine! Politics of subjugation!

I don't know davido, we'v never crossed paths, I don't know what could have transpired in the club but I will never be a party to smearing him by some Americans because he is not 'star enough' No way!

Some American artists will walk through Nigeria undetected. Davido went through America undetected.

So...what's the big deal? Davido in Nigeria/Africa is not the same as Davido in USA.

He has his market and reality has proved it to him.

Africa has the biggest population. Yet they are the beggars of the world. That is another evidence that quality trumps quantity.

Americans have chosen their celebrities/stars and no amount of wailing from Africans can change that. I consider myself a Nigerian.
I have heard about Davido and his songs. If you ask me to identify any of his songs, I cannot because most Nigerian artists sound the same.
It is similar to the characteristics of Nollywood movies where if you have seen one, you have seen all with the exception a few.
There are only a few talented Nigeria artists, most of them are auto-tune noisemakers.

I believe Americans have had their fare share of auto-tune noise from T-Pain.
