Stop saying what you're ignorant of. In 2014, the U.A.E made policies against looters hiding their money I'm U.A.E. The policy has already been implemented. Google is your friend. luvinhubby: |

dukie25:I can confidently place a bet that there are more Nigerian Christians hiding money in the UAE than Muslims. I went to Burj Khalifa in 2014, I saw some Naija guys going on a tour of the building. I'm guessing they wanted to buy property maybe an apartment or so. These guys were obviously from the SS because of the way they dressed and I kinda heard them talk to each other while the Arab guy was leading them around. This agreement means the Customs guy is coming back home. |

I pray this news is true... Oh God even if the only milestone this Government will achieve in the next four years is curb corruption to the extent that we as a nation can begin to raise our heads really high then I will be truly happy....Lord I pray for more strength and courage for the Buhari/Osinbajo led Government.... they will succeed by your grace... Amazing nation I come from someone steals chicken or food (not that I support any form of stealing) and when caught he is beaten to stupor with almost no mercy but people steal a nations's wealth/resources thus depriving generations to come and people defend them with all sorts of obnoxious sentiments...... calling it propaganda or whatever... I have seen people work their heads off in very good paying jobs and still have to take loans to buy a car or small house yet a politician (whom by the way should be on a civil servant salary) has fleets of cars and buys houses in various countries with cash down even when citizens of those country can hardly afford to do the same (they have to take a mortgage and pay back almost all their life).... |

Because the looted funds are traceable, and will only cause problems for the country in the long run. Eg, if Nigerian government provides credible documents that shows that Abacha's loot is with Swiss bank, but the said country refuses to return the money despite a glaring evidence, they may face sanctions. macklef: |

your problem is that you're not liberal. I knew of this since 2014 when the policy was implemented in all banks across the U.A.E. If you're unaware and can't Google it yourself, that's your headache. Just stop misinforming the general public. luvinhubby: |

I knew PMB didn't just travelled to Dubai for tourist purposes, now all the known 'yam-eaters' regardless of ethnic, religious, or party affiliate who have taken part of our collective yams to Dubai will be in trouble...change has indeed come to stay permanently. |
