Sambo Dasuki was a former National Security Adviser under the presidency of Goodluck Jonathan and also a former aide-de-camp to former military president Ibrahim Babangida. A prince from the Sokoto Caliphate, his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki, was installed as the Sultan of Sokoto by Babangida despite intense opposition from locals only for him to be later deposed and banished to a village in Zing, Taraba by General Sani Abacha. Sambo Dasuki is currently embroiled in a $2.1 billion arms scandal. He retired as a colonel and below is his picture when he was in the Nigerian Army.
