Like I said, with people like you on this continent, there is no hope for Africa
.

Still isnt saying what you claim

I think it is people like you, who will not admit their shortcomings and needs whom are the problem Africa has.

Did SWAPO have 13 year old girls as suicide bombers? Did SWAPO kidnap civilians to use as sex slaves or human shields? Did SWAPO mass murder 500 innocent civilians in one village in one night by cutting their throats with knives while the people slept peacefully?

Not worth debating, not worth it.

- Nope, but they had MANPADS, MRLS and other things which they used asymetrically

- Yes they did

- SWAPO never got the chance because SADF and SWASF QRF teams would be on the spot in seconds if they ever got into highly populated areas. But they never did... because the SADF interdicted them before they got to the civilians

Asymmetrical war is asymmetrical war

SF have evolved from fighting Cuba in Angola behind enemy lines, to fighting the likes of Boko Haram that have NO LINES....NO FRONTLINE....SO THERE IS NOTHING CALLED BEHIND ENEMY LINES.

Mission of SF has seen evolution over the years.

Strategic misssions. Mostly influencing what is to happen inside the battle space.

SF didn't evolve from fighting Cuba in Angola. There were many SF units around the world before the conflict in Angola. So that war isn't where SF units originated.

The war in Nigeria like many took various forms. At some stage the terror..ists held land behaving like a conventional force which needed conventional warfare tactics to hammer or push them out of the territories they held.

Remember to BH your army is the enemy. If one su.icide attac..ker enters territory in control of your government they are behind enemy lines. War is no longer a gentlemen's thing frontlines can be opened anywhere.

1. Regional maritime surveilance system, not managment

2. What C2 system? Can you name it or its components?

Again, all you have is node-to-node. Not systems and certainly no battlefeild managment system.

Your arrogance is disgusting.

Final point: do you use Chaka? No? Then you learnt something

And lets not even mention doctrine

What is wrong with you?
How did you know the technical details of the system?
You sit down there in South Africa and tell us our battle management system is node to node you fool. Not even a video conference system use in most organization is node to node dummy. What use will it be to the military if the system is node to node. You had better look for something better to say cos you are not talking to dummys like you.

The Eagle Mobile Central Command Post is a vehicle mounted with various Information Communication and Technology equipment. This on board equipment gives the Theatre Commander the opportunity to have first hand information of the battle space. From the vehicle the commander has access to both ground troops and air assets within the battle space.

The Eagle Mobile Central Command Post was borne is a mobile Central Command Post that is designed to link up with the troops in the field, as well as the command hierarchy.

With this, the President, Commander-in-Chief, Minister of Defence, Chief of Defence Staff and the Service Chiefs can have real time contact with the troops in the field. Added to this, the Eagle Mobile Central Command Post affords close monitoring of the activities of the troops and passage of real time information from strategic level to operational and tactical levels.

Furthermore, the platform affords the Chief of Air Staff on the move to have a look at the performance of surveillance or reconnaissance aircrafts.

The project is designed as constructed by Major General C T Olukoju of the Nigerian Army.

According to your envious and errornous ranting , the above explained Eagle system that links and manages real time data and visuals of an entire battle space the size of Scotland to a single vehicle command and control centre for coordinating a 30,000 man fully mechanized army plus a 100 aircraft air force is not a net-centric warfare system ?

People like you are the ones destroying Africa with deliberate falsehood. Pity you, just pity you. Africa needs better people so thhat our continent can make progress like India, South Korea, Pakistan, China

Your eagle is just a toy my boy.

You are surely the boy for not knowing that we use a real time full duplex system that is more advanced than yours. Showing us maps on a computer doesn't mean ours can't display location of troops too.

For God's sake what is so complex about a C2 system. Even normal apps we use on daily basis shows GPS location of friends around the world and can even display their location on a map just like the one you posted. so what will make developing a C2 system so difficult to the extent that you South Africans think you have something others don't have.

With people like you the world will think Africa is still living in stone age.

Yes augustus

It says you have a node-to-node system

You dont have net-centric warfare capabilites - no intergratrd datalink, no battle-managment systems,no bluefor trackers

Africa needs better people so we can be like korea? Who do you think i work for grin
Yes, people like Zuma I guess.

The general as the project manager went on to buy ordinary video conferencing equipment and load them in a truck so that Commander in Chief can be able to communicate and even assess the situation through televideo communication. This is 100% not a C2 system.

Look here and I quote about who designed and constructed these toy machines

The project is designed and constructed by Major General C T Olukoju of the Nigerian Army.

C2 system is complicated and uses ultra technology that cannot be put together by one man. Now here in Nigeria it was put together by one man and perhaps in two days. A general for that matter and not even group of top engineers.

NIGERIAN MILITARY IS A JOKE

I have always said it. That one doesn't look anything like a C2 system, rather a video teleconference.

Bwahahahahaha…

How does video conferencing better than our over R40 million genuine C2 system. That is not a C2 even the report does not claim it to be a C2 system. It is just an ordinary video conferencing used as a command post to link commander-in-chief to assess the achievement made by forces from the distance. Those is a pure toy machines. To be precise ICT equipments.

IBLAWI is heavily drunk from palm wine and doesn't even know how does a real C2 system look like. It uses computers and not just a television. That is a video conferencing and I am 100% sure about my claim. The reason is as follows. There is no C2 that looks like that in the whole world.

The information, communication and technology equipments you would need for video conferencing are as follows.

Video input: video camera or webcam

Video output: computer monitor, television or projector

Audio input: microphones, CD/DVD player, cassette player, or any other source of PreAmp audio outlet.

Audio output: usually loudspeakers associated with the display device or telephone
Data transfer: analog or digital telephone network, LAN or Internet

Now can you see telephone receiver? Yes. It is just an ordinary video conferencing that can be organised by any knowledgeable and skilled person.

Africaken, you're too hasty! Fyi,this one attack is the highest KIA ever by the KDF since independence. Not in the shifta war when the KAF was tiny and there was no aircav-this was the worst day ever. The enemy also learns;he changes and adopts his tactics. In this particular case not all the gunships,MI35s,KA52s,Apaches,T-90Ss,M1A1s or drones would've saved them once the second huge VBIED penetrated their position.
These things happen in war! It happens to the US just that their media plays ball and doesn't let it out-the KDF has still largely succeeded where everybody else failed. Only in forums like this is there noise about blunders.

Here's why!

Forget all the bs about the best specops/fighter/mig 29 vs Gripen or Chinese corvette vs Meko! The truth is no matter how good you are when you step in the ring and win you will still take some hits!

You surely think C2 is just something you can just construct without expertise. You are mistaken.

C2 is complicated technology which requires big companies to put together. It requires companies to flock and compete for a tender just like when you do major arms deal.
