Ooni Of Ife Pictured With 'Rumoured New Wife' Before & After Coronation

When Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi was coronated in December 2015, he stepped out with his wife Olori Adebukola, the mother of his only child Adeola. Less than 3 weeks after his coronation, an online news portal The Capital published an article that the Ooni of Ife had picked Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, founder of Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) and Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN), as new bride.


Less than 48 hours after this article hit the blogosphere, the Ooni of Ife's spokesman Folabi Da Silva, released a statement that, “Ooni Ogunwusi maintains a cordial business relationship with Ronke Ademiluyi who is also a princess from Ile Ife and their interests are strictly professional and there is no basis for such rumors of a relationship between the two".
