The Flaws Of Android Marshmallow 6.0 by Akby(m): 11:28am On Jan 24, 2016
The excitement that lights up after the availability of the update could only last for a moment as heap of lamentations could be heard from every lips.
Flaws they call it - Marshmallow came with tons of these headache. Dang!
First, you can't access any of your previous files. Yes you heard me oops! Memoy is allocated to these files, but you can't see them either. Like you lost all your music, pictures, videos etc. Google should rectify this ASAP

Second, USB connection to PC is not working. Even after going through the rigour of 'Developer Option' just to turn on Media Transfer Protocol (MTP), PC still can't recognise the device. Ouch!

Third, backed up contacts on Google account only displays number and not name after making a call. Let me throw more light on this, all contacts saved are intact with names no doubt but the call history only reads the number without names after placing call.

Also, there is a slow response when the phone is unlocked like 3-4 secs. This bug needs to be fixed soon.

Further, GLO IMEI changers lol this is for 'us'. Marshmallow disabled the option to change your IMEI even with MTK Engineering. Bad market indeed!!! But we that we've changed ours, it works perfectly.

In summary, so many things still need adjustment. I foresee an update before February ending. That not withstanding, the OS came with loads of new features

Infinix Hot 2
Re: The Flaws Of Android Marshmallow 6.0 by Tolzeal(m): 6:35pm On Jan 24, 2016
You guys should give it up a little more time.
You shouldn't expect much now from Low end devices.

I've been running Marshmallow for more than 3 months now with no glitches... I always security patch updates.

Though There is final upgrade Marsh 6.0.1 that came November last year. So the likes of non reputable devices, You should keep calm and wait for more patches..

Re: The Flaws Of Android Marshmallow 6.0 by Oahray: 9:23pm On Jan 24, 2016
Chillax jare. If upgrades were as perfect as you are expecting, there wouldn't be any need for additional updates. There would always be bugs for starters, it is known.

This is rubbish. I updated my LG g3 myself using Lg flashtool. I even did a dirty flash, as in I didn't wipe anything, just flashed on top of my lollipop, not rooted either. Everything works fine and I'm loving it. All my files are intact, the performance and visuals are better than before. I can't go back to lollipop. I'm waiting for marshmallow on my s6. I could have just downloaded the beta but it is still only available for the international version and I'm using a t mobile version.

Let me guess, u are probably using infinix. U should blame ur oem for being incompetent in releasing their version of marshmallow filled with bugs. Even the beta version released for the galaxy s6 doesn't have these bugs, infinix released an alpha version (not even beta) of lollipop and pushed it as ota. Very incompetent if u ask me.

Why I couldn't use Infinix ROM is because the phone came with Android One which was Google powered all through. Infinix left it all for Google so customising her Marshmallow is rather difficult. You were using LG ROM that was why you could flash and install on it sir.

Thanks very much.
But please I need some answers.
1. How do I flash this. I have TWRP recover flashed on my phone, can I use this.
2. My phone is rooted, do I need to unroot.
3. What are the known bugs in this release that I should prepare my mind for.

To access the developer, GOTO settings > About Phone > Build number. Tap the build number for 7 times and the developer option will pop out

tio access Developer Option go to settings - about phone, go down and keep tap on build number until u see "u are already a developer" now go back to settings u will see it.

i just connect the phone to pc and when i look at the phone and drag down the notification panel i saw usb connected, select to copy file to/from pc and i tap on it and tap turn on usb storage. thats all.
