dear poster, u better go for l9 plus. I also plan to get it this month-end. I'm not a tecno agent or marketer like d guy above. just an advice

Better chipset and processor, 4G LTE, better gpu for good graphics handling, frequent updates and bug fixes, better camera plus it was recently updated to android 7.0.

Reasons why you shouldn't get Tecno L9plus,

Poor chipset and processor compared to Hot 4 Pro, no 4G LTE, Mali 400 GPU compared to Mali T760 in Hot 4 Pro, if you buy Tecno L9PLUS plus, you risk not getting latest updates in Android as there is little or no but fixes or updates (Tecno is known for that). Poor screen resolution (720*1280) on a wider screen (6.0inch) which leads to poor viewing angle.

Only good thing about it is the 5050mah battery but the Hot 4 Pro ain't lagging in the battery department too 4000mah I think.

I'm not an Infinix marketer, in fact I use a Gionee M5mini.

Exactly. Yes L9PLUS is good but I've not seen anything on it that can beat that of Hot 4 Pro aside it's 5050mah battery. And mind you, Hot 4 Pro has a 4000mah battery too

Honestly I use the Tecno L9+, but for the 4G, every other thing is okay. Come to think of it, how many of our network providers have a stable 4G and what's the essence of 4G if your location is not 4G enabled?

I'm not saying the L9PLUS is bad but comparing it to Hot 4 Pro is an insult. Look beyond 4G then you will see what it means to be an android user. Tecno LX or L10 will come out with android O or even the same android N. Sure thing is, you buy a Tecno phone, you are stuck for life on a particular OS version. Aside that, the chipset, GPU, and timely updates for all Infinix devices can't be ignored.

When most phones have 3G, majority of our network provider haven't started dishing it out then but today, all network providers have 3G connectivityin the whole federation. Same will happen with 4G. So just because it's not useful now doesn't mean it's useless
