for those that haven't updated to M yet ur luck. learn now so u wont regret at the end.
1. export/copy ur contacts to ur gmail account that way after updating u won't get the contact problem others r facing.
2. move all media files (pictures,videos, music) from ur internal memory to ur sd card before updating. make sure all apps are installed in ur internal memory only. that way u wont lose apps after updating. (i noticed the few apps i lost were those i moved to sd card).

Hello house, I never had any problem with my hot2 until now. I've not been able to browse via the first Sim(glo bis). Even tho my data is on, it doesn't bring Edge or 3G again. Pls help!!!!!

You guys should stop Upgrading to Marshmallow 6.0. There are lot of bugs for infinix hot 2
Just ignore the update by pressing down on the Restart and Install notification and the disabling the Google Play services Notification.... At least till a bug fixing update is released

King root won't root it, you have to flash twrp via Flash tool then flash supersu via twrp, simple as that.

Hello guys I updated to the android 6.0 marshmallow after the updated I couldn't view contents of my internal storage
Play music was saying there is no music file
Photos were not showing
Names of saved contacts didn't appear when they called .
The phone was lagging and
Taking a few seconds to come up

Nothing in the internal storage was showing and all my files were there
The internal memory is showing there is something on it.

Can someone please help me know how I'll bring back those files ill really appreciate that

I think you guys that are complaining about marshmallow probably upgrade the 830 mb+ own. I upgraded the 630 mb's own, had have not had problems with it. My phone hardly lags, and when it does, all I got do is minimize whatever am doing and make the phone cool for about 10 secs.. that's all, unlike when on lollipop that I would have to remove my battery . Also my contacts name do show anytime I recieve a call, or wanna call. my battery is okay, lil bit better than before. The internal memory ish, I think it's normal.. It happened to mine also.. I just did a factory reset. Thank God I backed up my important files.Also,no bugs..
The only lil prob is the background ish, when it sleeps,which isn't a big prob.. all I got to do is to tap the power button thrice instead of once.. Not really bad tho
Am enjoying the marshmallow
The crazy 830+mb update is still in my settings, ain't installing. Don't wanna start complaining also

You shouldn't have downgraded in the first place. Anyway, I advice you do manual 6.0 update again, since the normal OTA ain't installing.











Chai.....oga how bout this I upgraded to marshmallow that's the 600mb one and later got the OTA ...I den downgraded to lollipop and the OTA ain't installing... I've not tweaked the phone or root nothing what do I do

Just upgraded to Marshmallow, no weird bugs discovered as claimed, didn't lose any app, just app data, backed up my music and pictures so I've got no problem with that, honestly I think my phone is faster, I use the 1GB variant by the way...

Anyways I found the solution. Got into this mess yesterday myself. Contacts not properly synced and my contacts no longer identifiable.

It's simple.
Go to settings. Then accounts. Log outta your Google account and log back in.

Voilà!

Works like magic.
Y'all owe me one.
