She was the finance minister, how can she claim she didn't know that money was being released for spurious purposes. She may not be corrupt, but she clearly was being negligent.

Late Gani Fawehinmi is the only consistent and true human rights lawyer this country have seen. Falana is now politically motivated lawyer. As for Festus Keyamo he's no longer relevant on issues of human rights at all. He no longer stand for anything but a political jobber. What a shame!!.

RIP Mr. Gani Fawehinmi.

Actually Falana is no longer respected as b4. I think dey are right calling her "political jobber"

Well as a thorough breed professional that she claimed to be, she should have resigned when all this unprofessional conduct are being perpetrated under her watch. Baba Christopher kolade quietly resigned when surep program was being abused. What was she thinking? Keeping a memo to show you are not liable is a crap

It seems falana is struggling with integrity test of late.i used to respect him but not sure i understand him anymore.is he eating from another pot of yam cos he is sounding warped n crooked lately.by d way,is he still a practising lawyer?can't remember when i last saw him in court.
The real problem with people like Falana is that they are economic illiterates.

Hence they believe that her presence in the corrupt GEJ governmemt mearnt she was corrupt.

Unfortunately for him, it does not tally. She did her best in a. rotten situation.

The fact that the debt burden is 12% of GDP is a massive feat.

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has a totally different meaning of what it entails to fight corruption.
I may disagree with Falana on charging her to the ICC based specifically on the $2.1b Dasukigate, but for her to claim she fought corruption and linking her mum's kidnap to her acclaimed fight is nothing but fallacy.
Discredit her points one by one if you think she is lying.

The shenanigan that Buhari is engaged in the name of fighting corruption cannot be as effective as the institutions she put in place.

A few who will be afraid because of this abracadabra will resume when he is gone, others will continue even why he is in office because they have his protection. Consult the Aso Rock Budget

The woman is there nau, let EFCC invite her... you guys fail to understand that this woman is in a completely different level. No one has been able to bring out a single document implicating her. The best they could do is to try to indict her through the media. This woman is not a politician she is a Bloody Technocrat
Re: A Response To Femi Falana, An Integrity-Challenged Charlatan (ICC) by sage2(m): 8:21pm On Jan 25, 2016
Am I the only one who think that short and ugly men have a problem with this woman? Oshiomole, Tinubu and Falana. Where did she wronged them to warrant this constant mastubation on her eminent personality?

Gerharahia men, Falana is nothing but an ICC i.e integrity chalenged charlatan. NOI just took him to the cleaners & exposed him for who he really is, a political jobber cum puppet. There are two amazons I'll always respect in Nigeria for their integrity, dedication & passion, one is the late Dora Akunyili & Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. Ten thousand Falanas cant tarnish her hard earned reputation, the ugly Oshomole tried & failed woefully, he too will fail. The funny thing is that the more they try to smear her the more they end up with bruised noses! They should keep on hating while the world keeps celebrating her. B.A.S.T.A.R.D.S!!!

Femi Falana: An Integrity-Challenged Charlatan suffering from Chronic Cerebral Amnesia!!
That is a technical knockout grin grin

Honestly though, Okonjo-Iweala is too smart to be directly involved in all these "Dasukigate" shenanigans. Everywhere is covered: back, front, right, left. That is the problem with dealing with an intellectual and not rogues like Bafarawa and Dokpesi. She and Tinubu are from the same cloth. Just too smart.

Mr. Israel, can a thief catch a thief? I am not calling madam NOI a thief (the courts would decide that) but the sad reality is that she was an integral part of an administration that lacked the will to confront corruption. The Integrated Payroll system and TSA implementation you alluded to under her stewardship would have eventually failed, been jettisoned, or at best half-heartedly implemented coz those meant to oversea it were largely already compromised. Neither her nor her boss had the guts to fight tge system the way the current administration is currently doing.
Do you want to accredit her innovations and policies to Buhari?

Fashola once exonerated himself by telling all who care to note that he don't sign cheques hence that exonerated him from any crime committed during his tenure.

The problem I have with most of your type is what huge responsiblity you attach to NOI without given such to Adeosun.

Until now, we have no replacement for her. She answered every question on virtually every problem Nigeria had but now who do we give the burden we laid on NOI?

She wasn't the President, stop comparing her to/with Buhari

Just agree that she is a genius.

on point, the gullibles think Booohari's selective arrests will change something.

They don't see that the systems Okonjo left in place is meant to gradually ease off corruption end but instead, its the media trials and propaganda that they are thrilled by.

SMH!

TSA - Treasury Single Account was her brain child
The TSA noble as it is wasn't her EXCLUSIVE creation, it was already enshrined in our constitution and its implementation was all that was needed.
Read:
Section 80 (1) of the 1999 Constitution as amended states “All revenues, or other moneys raised or received by the Federation (not being revenues or other moneys payable under this Constitution or any Act of the National Assembly into any other public fund of the Federation established for a specific purpose) shall be paid into and form one Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation”

The problem is not NOI.

The problem is the Nigeria prosecutors that are so naive, unprofessional and ill-trained on how to pursue criminal cases.
They may have multiple degrees appended to their names, but they are ignorant as door knobs. They only show
up when there is noise to be made on a local level. Isn't it shameful how suspects and criminals are using the prosecutors
to mop the floor? Even with a truckload of evidence, the prosecuting attorneys cannot build a good case and suspects
walk. They only resort to crude armtwisting tactics because their brains are tabula rasa.

Compile the charges against NOI, approach a court and have the court issue subpoena so that she will testify under
oath. How hard is it for these folks to think? They think prosecution is effective in the media. The ICC maneuver is
puerile. Falana should know better.

Don't mind them.
Obasanjo did all that with Ribadu and yet we still have corrupt people. They have not convicted anyone yet. Conviction is even the hardest

The UK spent 14 million pounds to convict Ibori.

It is cheaper to prevent corruption than fighting it. They will never learn

Exactly a point that needs to be made. Those guys at EFCC are not skilled at their jobs. Ebun Adegboruwa went to EFCC office in Lagos. They did not have tables in some offices! They had to pay for stationery from their pockets. Files scattered everywhere. I hear what they do is arrest you on a suspicion, intimidate you into writing a statement and then prosecute you with it.
When they jam four SANS like Timipre Sylva came to court with some years back, their infantile prosecution will just belch and quench.

One thing I have noticed with the wailers and most of those that follows Jonathan is that they lack sense for civility. If she's not suffering from guilty conscience she need not this attitude she just go and defend herself when she's invited.

Keep shut. Femi Falana was a young graduate of Unife, before even going for his NYSC, when he defeated the FG in a case in 1982.
You are like your leaders who lie for the rest of us.

Who did Falana defeat in 1982? May it interest you to know that this garrulous and attention-seeking was a sort of a latter-day lawyer having had to negotiate law via a philosophy degree?

Must you bring Adeosun into this? ? You people with your tribal foolishness. The Soludo who demystified her, is he Yoruba? If Adeosun under-performs after 4-years she shouldn't be spared. NOI can be a genius to you but to me she was incompetent and overrated, and will always be associated with perhaps the most scandalous financial crimes perpetrated in recent times.

NOI should go and defend herself before ICC anytime she is invited to do so. All this her long epistle won't change the fact that she served as the coordinating minister of finance in a regime that corruptly cornered $2.1billion. If she has any shame left in her, she should come out openly and apologies to Nigerians for her incompetence.
.....And you don't think burutai that served as Director of procurement DHQ under the last administration should be made to apologize to Nigerians, thereafter tied, blindfolded and sent to EL zakzaky's followers? Una hypocrisy dey gimme cough! Smh!
