Two offspring can be produced by the same pregnancy which can either be monozygotic or dizygotic. Monozygotic; which are identical can be referred to twins formed or developed from one zygote (yoke), and contains all genetic information necessary to form two embryos. The dizygotic (fraternal) can be developed from two different eggs, where each of these eggs are fertilized by separate sperm cells.
